Great place, great food, great drinks! I've been here twice now and the food doesn't disappoint, the drinks don't either... ????. I went for a late lunch with my mom and had a nice time. The atmosphere was friendly and clean. We tried the mac & cheese balls... (amazeballs if you ask me). Mom had fish & chips and I had the shepherds pie boxty. Everything was delicious and completelyunerstated (I only got one pic, so I better make my way over for another round.????) The cocktails were also good. My onlynegative comment is that the burgers I saw coming out are considerably different than the photos in advertising. I'm aware ofthe photography practices for food but this is a pet peeve of mine. I'm realistic but I still want it be close. I'll see if thetaste compensates for the lackluster presentation. I was at Irish 31, Oviedo, FL on March 17 (Google maps will confirm) I am Irish/American and was there from 11 am until 8 pm. I... observed extra decorations for guests on this St Patrick's Day ... along with the front of the house employees dressed in thespirit of St Patrick's Day and not their normal way. How festive. There was a special menu that included a large portion ofcorned beef, cabbage, carrots, potatoes -- delicious ... along with green beer and special cocktails for St Pat's. Theindividual musicians and Irish band really added to a sensational day. You can tell the management put a lot of thought intomaking this a special kind of day for St Patrick's Day. It was simply amazing as there were extra bartenders, servers,hostesses, and beefed up kitchen crew to make sure things went as smoothly as possible. Kudos to the management, the front ofthe house and the back of the house to make St Patrick's Day 2022 at the Irish 31 pub in Oviedo, FL most memorable. Here's my 2 cents' about Irish 31. I was in on a Sunday, mid afternoon, 2pm-ish. There was about 3 tables taken but I wanted to... sit at the bar. The Red Ale had a crispness about it and a nice chill. I ordered the Fish and Chips upon debating between thatand the Shepherds pie. Amanda, the bartender, suggested the Fish and Chips because I had not eaten much that day. Good portionand very hot, which is always nice. The tartar sauce seemed in house. It was heavy on the mayonnaise but the vinegar added withchopped dill pickles made it ok. I prefer more pickles in mine. The fries were so crispy with a great chew for the middle. Goodstuff! The fish was ok. This is why..... At first, the fish was great with a wonderful crunchy batter. By the time I got to thesecond piece, the bottom was oil soaked and fell off. With the third piece, I just left the oil soaked pieces there. I wouldsuggest putting all 3 pieces on the piece of lettuce. This would lift up the pieces enough to not cause sogginess. Think of it as an Irish Sports Bar. Nice Irish pub style design, complete with coffered ceilings, dark wood, and wide bar. They... have a selection of draft and bottled beers (including their own house offering, along with Irish whiskey, scotch and otherliquors. The food includes pub fare (like Fish & Chips) and sports bar stuff (Chicken Wings). Also some dessert options. If youlike sports? There are 15+ TVs to choose from. We ordered lunch as an office and wish we could return all of this food. The salads didn't include all the ingredients they... listed, the chicken was the thinnest piece of chicken I have ever seen, maybe a table spoon of other "toppings" and they charge$14?! This was the first time for us having dinner at Irish 31 Pub. Due to the first college football game night, it was pretty crowed... when we arrived around 8:45. We managed to get a booth and were seated a short while later. They have an extensive craft beer(draft as well as bottles), Irish Whiskey selection. There are wines as well. Maybe due to the crowd, food was slow to come tothe table after ordering. Food presentation was good and tasty. The wait staff could have been a bit more attentive. Since itwas towards closing time, they dumped the iced tea before offering us refills. Read more
