Went there this evening for a party to surprise my daughter. She just had a birthday and I wanted to surprise her. Most of her... friends from work were there. Been before and wasn't impressed but thought I'd give it another chance so stopped in for a quick bite. I ordered three simple... things that you wouldn't think possible to not get right. Bowl of chili - I don't know if bowl is the right word as I've seenbigger egg cups. Chili wasn't hot enough. Garlic bread - This wasn't the nice few slices of crusty hot bread with garlic I hadexpected. It was a couple slices of Texas toast and I couldnt really taste much garlic. Breaded mushrooms - plenty of them butundercooked. They should be hot and golden brown. I think the kitchen staff need to be trained in how to cook thebasics. Terrible ambience - lighting and decor made the place feel cold and clinical. And I couldn't hear myself think for aguy shouting obscure questions into a Mike. OK. I get it - some people like pub trivia nights but turn it down a bit. So I gaveit two shots. Won't be a third. Just another badly lit sports bar selling badly cooked frozen food. Read more
Gator?s does food and drinks the right way. This is visit number, I don?t know at this point but today I had the Sweet & Spicy... Jalapeño Burger. Every flavor was on full display with the fried onion straws providing the perfect texture with a nice crunch.The Mellon cocktail was not your ?typical? manly drink but Katrina balanced the sweetness perfectly with a strong butcomplimenting drink. Yummy food..brought out fast. Riley was our server..she was awesome..friendly and efficient. Definitely recommend it here.
