My family and I went to try out Whataburger and it wasn't the most pleasant experience. First of all, the kiosk wasn't working... and we didn't know until we put in our order. Second of all, somehow all four of our orders got messed up. Two of us gotcompletely different orders than what we asked for, one of us didn't receive any of the inclusions we asked for, and the otherone of us didn't even receive a patty on the burger. However, the manager was nice enough to redo our orders. The burgers weregood tho, but the service was a bit dicey at first. Read more

First ever visit. 38 minutes in the drive thru. There were only 9 cars in front of me! Order taker had a headset problem.... Every car was shouting and repeating their orders. They put sauce on my chicken sandwich - although I ordered without sauce. Fries were wimpy and barely warm. Miserable experience... Read more

First time ever and we went because everyone said it was so unique and good. The seasonal Blue Cheese burger I ordered was... delicious tasting. The others in my group got the normal burgers straight off the menu. Burgers were good, they look lame, buttasted good. Fries were yuck, thin shoestring and cold. Ordering from a kiosk was very unimpressive. The floor was extremelyslick. The bathroom was dirty. Not excited to ever go back. Read more

Ordered at self service machine. Took 30 minutes for food. Forgot the cinnamon roll and made my sandwich wrong. Brought me the... right sandwich within a few minutes and then got a lecture that I "didn't order it right they dont look at " no lettuce" theylook at "plain and dry"". Friend ordered food and took 42 minutes for his food. When he was brought his food I had to ask againabout the cinnamon roll and it was then brought immediately. Food was not worth that long of a wait. Average flavor. Staffother than the lady who lectured, was polite. Total of 3 people I spoke too so overall not bad. Definitely overworked. Read more

I?ve driven by this place at least once a week since it opened, and it is ALWAYS packed. Today my curiosity finally got the best... of me and I decided to try it for the first time. What a disappointment. Honestly, it?s no better than any other place thatspecializes in burgers. In fact, there are other places not that far from this one where you could get a better burger. When Iarrived around 6pm on a Thursday the DT line was out the parking lot, and half of it was coned off and inaccessible, so Idecided to dine in. That line was out the door as well. They had two self service ordering stations and one person takingorders. I used self service because it was slightly faster. I ordered the bleu cheese double burger, just the way it comes, aside of fries and a small banana shake. Waited a reasonable amount of time for my food (about 10 minutes), but when they broughtit out to me they forgot my shake. I had to track someone down to ask about it, and only then was told they were out of bananashakes, so I got a fountain drink instead. The food itself was okay, nothing special. Plain fries (not even salt) withcondiments (including salt) offered upon request. The burger toppings had more flavor and seasoning than the actual meat, andthe meat itself was slightly pink, indicating it wasn?t cooked thoroughly. I wasn?t impressed. All in all, for $14, I wouldn?tcome here again. I can?t say I understand the hype. Very disappointing. Read more

I?ve eaten at Whataburger before in Texas, so I wasn?t in much of a hurry to try it out locally, but I won?t be rushing back. ... The only reason I gave them 2 stars was because the food was decent - which for $24 for 2 but there, I?d hope so! The bathroomswere FILTHY at 11:15am. The floors and windows in the restaurant were dirty. There were several corporate visitors in therestaurant observing and didn?t seem to be phased by this lack of sanitary conditions. Read more

Arrived at 5:30 (on a Sunday) for inside and the line took about 40 minutes to order. Amazingly, the food came out in about... another 5 minutes. TBH, I?m not a believer in the Whataburger hysteria that?s been all over KC, but it was good and you?ve gotto say you did it. I was surprised by how small the inside seating was. Feels like they could have built it twice the size. Read more
