We were a party of 2 and have dined at The Big Biscuit before. Past ratings would be 5 star! Our food was delicious and worth a... 5-star rating! However, our service was below par. We had a really nice young man; but it was either an off day for him or he isnot meant to be a server. After taking our orders, he came back twice to ask what we had ordered. When our food came, I did notget what I had ordered. We had to flag down another server to get him for us. Again, he came back two more times to ask what Iordered. When he did bring my food, he just set it on the side of the table and walked away, but at least this time the orderwas correct. He never checked on our drinks or came to ask if our food was ok. My friend again flagged down another server toget a tea refill, as we never saw him out on the floor. No manager ever came to our table. Our server came back momentarily todrop off our bill; I was charged for 2 entrees! When our server did not come back, we again asked another server for help. Mostrestaurants would have comped my entree that was wrong due to the amount of time I had to wait for my food, but instead I wascharged double. This did get fixed to a charge for just one entree. Still waiting for my refund the manager said he was going to give me, I ordered the haymaker and what I got was an old order... that they just took out the biscuits that were in it and gave to me, how do I know? The gravy was heat dried, fries were staleand chicken was soggy from condensation, you can even tell they didn't even bother to atleast try and make it look like itwasn't someone else's old order, plus the little piece of buiscut that was in the gravy that they missed, could of atleast mixedit around and not let it sit scooted to the side where it was obvious there was a spot for the biscuits I didn't order...all theemployees looked like they just seen death, not one hi or greet, manager paid no attention nor didn't care when i called aBoutmy order, I added a photo I hope the owner of this establishment sees this. The BB delivers on its promise of big, flaky biscuits. I got mine smothered in sausage gravy. Heavenly! The French Toast was... hot, soft and buttery. The veggie omelet looked awesome-my friend got one. Tip: if you like Ham, order it as your meat- it'senormous! Read more
I came in around 9 am today. Like, any other restaurant they get busy after church services. I came in and was seated in less... than 2 minutes. My server (I wish I remembered his name. Sweet young blonde man. Maybe his name started with an E) was sooosweet. He and another young lady suggested a chicken plate and it was so darn good. I am very much of a picky eater. The chickenwas fresh and crispy. The chicken and gravy soaked up into the biscuit nicely. I am stuffed. 10/10 would come back. Therestaurant was pretty clean too. Read more
We had a party of 6. We arrived early (before 9am) and chose outdoor seating. The menu was very good with a variety of... omlets, pancakes, waffles and scrambler bowls. The biscuits are the best I've ever had.... they were large, fluffy andbuttery. Service was really slow and We waited for an extraordinary amount of time for our food. They were busy, but I thinkthat they needed more staff.. All of the food was well seasoned and flavorful but it was only luke warm. Overall it was apleasant experience and I will return. Read more
Pretty good. A little over priced but not too bad. I would recommend it. The biscuits are huge and Delicious.
