Friendly fast service, but had to ask for the kids slushies. The carnitas tacos were amazing and packed full of flavor-highly... recommend them. My wife had the Chile relleno and it was huge. My regular Margaritas were not that good, but my wife enjoyed herstrawberry one. Good prices. Read more

The food was good. The service and kitchen were very slow in a restaurant that was not very busy. We had to ask the food... runner for drink refills and more Chips and salsa. When we were seated, initially we were each given a menu and one was takenwhen we sat down and never brought back. I didn?t care for the corn stuff or the rice, however the burrito and refried beanswere tasty. My husband had the steak enchiladas and cilantro rice. Tiffany and her staff are always on point. I've countlessly depended on them for all my catering needs and time and time again... they've proven to me that they are a team I can rely on and trust. I love that I can just walk in and the staff already knowwho I am and what I need. I'm always greeted with a warm smile, everyone is always so welcoming. Attentive staff, ok food. Only three stars because the wall in our booth and the happy hour menu on the table had food smears... and residue which was just gross negligence but then and our server delivered our beverages with her hand on the top of theglass. Cleanliness and attention to proper handling is really important to me and this was such a turn off that we consideredleaving before ordering. Jose Pepper?s in Overland Park offers a bright and lively environment to enjoy great Mexican food. Their service is great and... they keep the chips coming. The manager at this particular location is always friendly and he runs a well oiled machine. Theircrispy tacos are freshly fried and absolutely delightful. The food is great! I would say the portions are pretty good for the price. The only complaint I have was the place was a bit... dirty on the ground, so maybe I would would vacuum more often? This didn't bother me too much. Read more
