I was going to be in the area. So I googked what places were close by to eat. Very disappointed. When we entered a nice set up,... we came on weekday, there was only 2 other ladies @ a table. My husband & I were sitted. Our server was very nice, he keep mycoffee filled. We ordered flashback breakfast special. I first noticed, my coffee cup, had coffee stains inside the cup (justneeded to be bleached). When our breakfast came, I was disappointed. I had read on reviews large portions of food. Not with myplate or my husband. The syrup was like water (my husband tried it first). My pancakes were smaller than my over easy Eggs. Thepancakes were plain, small (my husband referenced McDonald's pancakes) size yes. There pancakes were so disappointing, nofavor. You would think if your name of your restaurant was named with (you would try to rock this item). Heck they could makethey fluffy, add some vanilla, something. This was very disappointing. ?My eggs were good (Brite side). I had over easy. Baconwas good, not to crispy, sausage link was good. They do give you small glass of orange juice (was ok, I like mine icecold). ?You will not be able to talk to each other. I asked to have the back ground music turned down. ? There were 3 employeesby the kitchen, talking to each other in Spanish, they were so loud, I couldn't even talk to my husband so he could hearme. ?This is a major no no, in my books. It is beyond "Rude" to a customer for Any employee on dining floor to be speakingSpanish (Any language) other than English in front of customers. This is the most unprofessional and disrespectful to customers.(This is bad business) should be corrected immediately. ?They do have a patio area, to be able to enjoy a beautiful day. ?Theyhave unisex restrooms, this is "Tacky", (both are that way). 5-star service, 4-star ambiance, 3-star food. To be fair, I didn't get the self-acclaimed "Flapjacks," and my dining companion... says the pecan pancakes were quite good. I went the "and more" route with the Scrambled Lox and Onion. It was ok, fairlymonotone in flavor and a touch greasy and salty, but good enough that I still ate all of it, which was quite a hearty portion(way more than 2 scrambled eggs). Actually boxed my side of fruit (small plate of watermelon, pineapple, and cantaloupe?biggerthan a typical small fruit side dish) to go because I was so full. Again, our server was perfectly attentive and took good careof us, regularly topping off my cup of coffee. Went on a Saturday mid-morning when Google estimated it was less busy thanusual. Looked like a packed house, but it was just a quick 5-minute wait for a table. We didn't ask about seating outside or atthe little counter, but might have been no wait at all if we'd done that. Saw all ages, from families with young kids to seniorcitizens enjoying a meal. The space has a casual, country-themed, greasy-spoon cafe vibe. Restrooms seemed a little run down,but both are unisex and spacious, including a changing table, good if you're trying to herd little ones when nature calls.Overall Flapjacks 'n More is not the type of place I personally am likely to visit often, but I'd be happy to join friends ifthey wanted to go. My daughter and I had breakfast here last Saturday morning, around 9am. They were busy, but we didn't have to wait very long. We... had a wonderful meal, eggs Benedict and coffee. This was probably the best eggs Benedict I've had in a very long time. Theportions were huge, we could have easily shared, and the poached eggs and hashbrowns cooked perfectly. The coffee was deliciousand our cups were never empty. The host, our server , and all employees were hustling, efficient, and friendly.
