This place is amazing. It was my first foray into Ethiopian food and I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious it is. But... first, let me tell you about the staff. It's not your mom and pop's mom and pop's. The whole family is there helping, includingthe fine-looking sons (it doesn't hurt) of the owners. They are so friendly and courteous, it is like night and day from anyother restaurant I've been to. Not exaggerating at all. Ok. Maybe a little. They have plenty of vegan and carnivore options tochoose from. So so so delicious. The portions are also huge. I'm eating last night's leftovers and will still have leftovers.Wow. Don't miss it! I have never had Ethiopian food and wanted to try it. I was not disappointed. I went here last night with my husband and his... father. We decided since none of us had been here before to get one meat combo plate and one veggie combo plate and share. Therewas more than enough food and everything was delicious. My husband who normally isn't a fan of lentils, loved the red lentildish. Service was friendly and genuinely happy to have us there. We will be coming back as often as we can to try more. If you have ever seen Ratitoulle, eating at Elsa's will bring to mind the scene where Remy is explaining flavor combinations to... Emile. This food is amazing! We had both the veggie and meat combo plates so we could try everything. With all of the bold, yetcomplimentary flavors, the possibilities are endless! My girls loved everything as well! Bonus! Food was awesome. Quantity was enough for 2 people.Even we had to pack our food home. If you want to try Ethiopian food , you... should definitely give this a try.
