Went for dinner tonight and had a lovely experience! The food was VERY well priced and super fresh. Great flavor too! The build... your own bowl is a great option but the other salads we had off the menu were also delicious. Indoor seating was such a relax atmosphere. Menu was broken down in a pretty simple way and include gluten free, vegan, and... vegetarian options. GREAT portion sizes and variety in flavors. Includes cheap prices on wine, beer, seltzers, and other drinks.Includes free Wifi and plug ins for computer/ phones. Really wanted to love this place, because we need more health cafes in Johnson County. But I was disappointed in both the food... and the service. I ordered the miso mushroom bowl. Parts were good, other parts not as much. The massaged kale was good, andsweet potatoes were also pretty good. The dish was super heavy on the grain side, but it had good flavor (wish there was morebalance between veggies and grains). The mushrooms were served cold and were very slimy (still fresh, just didn?t love thetexture). The sauce served on the side wasn?t great, so I?m glad I didn?t have to use it. If service had been better, I wouldgive at least three stars. It was a slow Sunday today with (from what I could tell) just one worker. I walked past her on my wayout, looked her in the eyes and said ?thank you? in a cheerful tone, and she chose to look away and completely ignore me. I?m afriendly person, so this struck me as very odd and I felt uncomfortable. Wouldn?t return due to the food and theservice. Ambience is nice - probably the best part. We ordered the Ahi Tuna, which, to our surprise was raw. ???? The rest of it tasted fantastic. And the cashier felt bad he... hadn?t told us it was raw so subbed smoked salmon and we took the tuna home and cooked it up. Totally value the concept as weeat clean, whole grains so having some place to go where I don?t have to do the cooking is fantastic! Super trendy, upscalespace. Indoor or outdoor eating. What an amazing lunch! I did the Pick Your Pair which you choose half a salad and a soup. I ordered the Mexican Caesar salad and... red pepper bisque with smoked gouda. Every bite was packed with flavor and freshness! The staff is helpful and friendly too. IfI lived closer I would definitely dine more often! Read more
Nice healthy food fast casual restaurant. Service is fast and friendly. I ordered a chimichuri bowl and it tastes good. The dish... is also very presentable as it has very vibrant colors. The only thing I would suggest is to include more hot items in the bowl. Read more
I really liked this place, but what did you do to the Mexican Caesar? It used to have this amazing dressing on this perfect bed... of greens, a roasted jalapeno with grilled chicken--totally chef's quality- However what I received tonight as not even thesame. I will say the salad was fresh but something I could make at home and nothing I would crave to go out and get plus spendover the price I paid for this. The chicken was no longer grilled it was like these cubes of chicken that you find like on anairport to-go salad. The jalapenos are now sliced and raw---um I love spicy food but no raw jalapenos on my salad. Thedressing is definitely not a creamy cilantro caesar like before, it was a vinegary based disaster that frankly upset me. Thankgoodness I got an extra cup as 1 would have not even been enough to cover the salad. The tortilla chips were stale. All andall this is not the same salad. DISAPPOINTED Read more
