Fun place with good food options to snack on while you game! Good drink and coffee selection. I do think they could benefit from... having a floating server on busier nights to refill drinks, take new drink / snack orders, clear dishes, etc. When you're in themiddle of the game you don't always want to pause to go wait in a big line and get a new drink even if you might want one, so Ithink they'd increase sales if you didn't have to wait at the counter every time. Great atmosphere and game selection though! Read more

Husband and I went in for our first outing with our newborn. Did not realize what we were walking into. Thought It was just a... regular coffee shop. Very happily surprised to find out it was not! The coffee was great, the waffles were even better! Likeseriously, barbecue waffles?! Amazing! Been for the surprise part, we had no idea of game place. Pretty much any game you couldimagine. They even have signs you can put on the table if you are looking for extra players or if you are needing a little bitof help playing the game! Genius idea! Can't wait to have our next date night here! Read more

This place is really cool. Tons of board games, old school and new so something for everyone. I came as a group of 4 on a... Saturday night around 9pm and it was pretty quiet with maybe 3-4 other groups there. We ordered dessert waffles, thepeaches/cream and blueberry compote. Really liked that it wasn’t overly sweet and it came with four slices each so we sharedand everyone sampled both. Peaches/cream was def my favorite. Would come back again. It makes for a cute first date spot tohelp break the ice! Read more

What a unique concept for a place to get together! It’s fun to have so many game options and it is a great space for... groups. Honestly I didn’t try any of the food myself, but the people I went with did and liked it. They definitely have someunique things on their menu from what I could see! Read more

It was just ok to me. The atmosphere was great, we played board games while we waited for our waffles and it wasn't too crowded... because we went kinda early. Now lets talk about the food. They have a variety of savory and sweet waffles on the menu, buttaste wise I would have enjoyed it if it was hot and fresh. There's no way they made our food fresh. Everything was cold, evenmy loaded potatoes waffle. It was a nice experience but I don't plan on returning. Read more

Cardboard Corner Cafe is my new favorite spot in town to hang & bring friends for tea, lattes (they have oat milk, if you're... non-dairy like me!) or for a cocktail and brunch! The vibe is fantastic. The space is huge and air-y, the various size tablesare beautiful and perfect for gaming, drinking & eating with different sized groups. The menu is SO good, really interesting andphenomenally reasonably priced. The servers & bartenders are so lovely, and I spent hours there recently playing one of theirmany, many games with friends over brunch and had the best time. The cafe is also connected to a extremely well-stocked &curated Game Store, I stopped over there after brunch to get new dice and a dice bag, and the selection and staff was amazingthere too. Spread the word on this very special and very cool place so we can support them in this difficult time forrestaurants and bars because this spot is way, way too cool for us locals to not support and keep in business! <3 Read more

Select from an extensive collection of games and play on-site for FREE! Plus they serve house coffee, alcoholic beverages, and a... fun menu of waffle-themed foods while you play: Waffle fries, waffle sandwiches, and sweet and savory waffle concoctions.Situated next door to Table Top Game and Hobby (which also offers play space), it's a great place to try out new games beforeyou buy, meet up with friends, or go on a date or family night. The game selection is 5 out of 5 stars. No fancy or fun coffeeselections (bummer) though they do offer a chai tea latté (yay!) and really, the house coffee isn't bad. There are milkalternatives for your coffee, too, plus gluten free waffle offerings, and even a few vegetarian snacks (though I don't think anywere vegan?). Read more
