I ordered the sweet potato noodles (no shrimp). Since I didn't want any seafood/meat with it, I appreciated that they gave me a... slight discount on the $16 meal, though it still feels pretty pricey for a fast casual/food hall location. I hadn't realizedthat it was a japchae-inspired dish so that was a pleasant surprise. I wasn't expecting so much good Asian-inspired cuisine inKC, so I'm happy that they exist! It was pretty tasty, though it didn't blow my mind. I would definitely come back to StrangHall to try some of the other eateries here, and I'd be open to ordering from Anousone again too! Several other people in myparty ordered from Anousone as well, though they had a less favorable impression of the bun rice noodle bowl and hearty yellowcurry, so your mileage may vary. Read more

The best pork belly i?ve ever had! All the sauces were alittle sweet for my taste- Bahn Mi, Steamed buns and cucumber salad: if... your looking for a savory fix, maybe look elsewhere on the menu. Will definitely be back to try other items on the menu. Read more
One of the best meals I've ever had. I ordered the sticky rice plate with crispy pork belly and the forbidden rice pudding. It... came with the sticky banana leaves, two hot sauces, and Asian spicy papaya salad. I loved that the sticky rice was wrapped inbanana leaves and def made it more fragrant. The crispy pork belly was well cooked and not too hard or oily. The papaya saladwas excellent and I absolutely loved it. For dessert, the forbidden rice pudding was absolutely amazing. Wow! What an amazing experience! My husband and I went for valentines day. We didn't realize how it all worked at strang hall,... so we ordered our food to go so we could find a spot to sit. Needless to say, Anourone saw us struggling eating out of the to goboxes. He came over and got us, and reseated us at the restaurant, even had the staff replate our food, and added a side anddessert to our meal! He was very personable and made the night absolutely perfect! I went to Anousone with a friend for the first time. Never been to Strang Hall. My friend already knew what she was going to get... and I wasn't sure but the cashier was kind enough to help and I got stir fry with chicken. They even made it spicy because Ireally wanted it spicy. The food was legit amazing. Their brousell sprouts was perfect and not dry like some places. My favoritething was how the Chef and his employees were kind. The Chef took the time to talk to people and made the customer service feelmore like going to a friend house who's hosting a dinner party. All to say I legit had a great time and will definitely be goingback. Read more
