Great spot, right next to Downtown Ouray with wonderful restaurants and fantastic hikes. Right next to the river and between... mountains. Be aware!!! we had millions of flies in our rig (take or turn off any outside lights when it gets dark!) The sitesare gravel and super tight together. You are standing already super close plus cars get parked in between. I had at times (wehad to move three times due to Labor Day) a hard time seeing the mountains because of that. No real amenities aside from thelaundry room. Nothing fancy! Read more

Great locally owned resort. We stayed in the lodge (not cabin) room #5. It was spotless, fair amount of room with a desk and... small table & chairs for 2 people. It was a quiet space when they weren?t filled, but even with people in the room above us itquieted down early (10p). Both hot tubs were very clean and fully working. There is a nice communal gas fire pit where we metsome great people! It is right on the river easily walkable to town (1.5 miles) & only 3/4 mile walk to the town hot springs. Read more

The staff were all wonderful, friendly and accommodating. There was a small issue but they went over and beyond to correct! They... have a store, gas station, convenient store and everything needed to stay right at the resort. The restaurant on site isphenomenal! We had breakfast every morning then dinner. The steak and pork chops were some of the best we?ve eaten! We alsorented a Jeep and it was an all around great experience. Thank you all for a wonderful vacation! Read more

Great campground with a location very close to all activities in the area. Although regular campsites are very narrow, the rock... borders give a defined space for each campsite. Views are gorgeous. Very clean and large restrooms. The staff were extremelyfriendly and helpful in sharing local information and history. Great WiFi for the kids? devices at night. Our AT&T cell servicehas a great connection to service at this campground. Overall an excellent place to stay! Read more

The hospitality of the staff was outstanding. We were made to feel welcome and valued from check in to check out. The... facilities were clean, safe and beautiful. This was the first time my wife and I attempted any sort of " camping". The cabin wehad was beautiful, fully functional, and conveniently located to every thing we had on our to-do list. The river off the backdeck, the snow capped mountains all around and the waterfalls were beautiful and very relaxing. We have booked reservationsagain. Read more

This place saved our failed camping trip! They were so friendly and accommodating, truly one of the best lodging experiences... we?ve had. The area was beautiful (right on the river), clean, and quaint. We also loved the cafe! We had breakfast there and itwas HUGE and homemade. The woman who served us was a joy to be around and clearly loved her job and made us feel like family. Ontop of all this, the owner herself followed up with us to try to accommodate our last minute desires to stay an extra night.100% recommend staying here (we stayed in one of the cabins) and we will be back in the future! My wife and I had the privilege of staying here 10 years ago to the day, on the day we got married. It was beautiful then and... still beautiful now. Like a fine wine this place only got better. The improvements & the atmosphere were beyond ourexpectations! The staff is so friendly, the management is very involved in your stay experience & they make it so easy to checkin and check out.
