Delicious food and service. My wife had the Halibut and I had a 12oz ribeye. Both were huge portions and well worth the price.... The steak was more like 2 inch thick and so tender and well seasoned....could not eat it all but will provide 2 meal leftovers. My wife's Halibut was a large portion and delicious. Breakfast wad wonderful!!! I had Huevos Rancheros and it was not typical but much better! Grandkids had a burrito and pancakes,... and hubby had an omelet. Every thing was delicious and the very friendly, personable service made the experience great! Read more

Amazing breakfast place. Our food came out quickly and the serving sizes were huge! Great amount of food for the price. The... biscuits and gravy were amazing and the salsa that came with the breakfast burrito was super fresh. The sausage patties with therise n grind platter were huge compared to even store bought ones. By far the best experience I've had at a restaurant in Ouray. Incredibly nice staff and environment. Food was presented... beautifully, cooked as requested, and was obviously very fresh. Sides are very inexpensive for what you get. Entrees are pricedaccordingly with other restaurants in the area, but quality is much higher. Wine selection is diverse and priced well. Ihonestly have not had a better meal in Colorado and will be recommending Ouray Cafe & Steakhouse to everyone. Read more

The service was very kind. Thank-you! The food was about what you'd expect at a bad diner or a breakfast buffet. Food came out... pretty quickly, yet, the toast was cold, hash browns soggy and Luke warm...(forgotten on the plate, and brought out after thefact), scrambled eggs were brown and overcooked and barely warm. The bacon was perfectly cooked and delicious. I rarely writebad reviews and it seemed like the cook was having a really flustered morning, so perhaps what I was served is not the norm. Ihave compassion and I worked in a coffee shop before...I know how it can be at peak, busy times, yet, I paid close to $20 for abarely edible breakfast. I'd much rather wait longer for tasty, fresh, made-to-order, well-prepared food. It's unfortunatelynot what I received. EDIT: The owner kindly offered to give me a credit for breakfast or dinner but I was leaving town. Superkind people over here. <3 I would try again if I was staying in town. Read more
