I ordered a BLT&A (which stands for avocado) add cheddar cheese and fries with ranch. I called from my room and was told about... 20 minutes. Around 25 minutes I went down as the restaurant was take out only. I waited another 40 minutes. By then I wasstarving. My BLT&A had no avocado and no cheddar. I understand being understaffed and would have been fine if I was told thewait was an hour or more and my food was right. Read more
We LOVE this place! The owners are adorable! The food was PHENOMENAL!! Our new favorite pizza on the coast! The boars head... pepperoni?to die for. Then?the Caesar salad?BEST we have ever had. (And we travel A LOT) The view from the restaurant isextraordinary. The cliffs and the mighty Pacific Ocean. The sunsets were captivating. We loved this place so much, we moved ourwedding here! It?s a family owned restaurant with a chef that loves his craft. It?s a place to savor?not rush. A place to be. Aplace to truly bask in the moments as the sun dips into the sea. This place did not meet my expectations at all. On arrival we were promptly adressed and told to seat ourselves, we were able to... order our food and drinks and the server was attentive and prompt. After oredering and receving one round of drinks she actedlike nobody was there except the man she wanted to talk to at the bar, atleast 35 minutes later some stinky guy wearing a beaniecap and sunglasses slumped out of the back with our main course but no sides and no sauces dispite reminding the server thatkept slurring everyother word that we wanted ranch. Over 1 hour into our trip to this restaurant I had to leave cash on thetable and walk out because of the server continuously ignoring me, my date, and the 8+ patrons waiting to be seated. Same here several years ago and it was the best on the Oregon coast. This time though was a different story all together. The... view was excellent as always the food looked very good the french fries with the fish and chips were burnt and cold and the clamchowder was the worst I've ever eaten at any restaurant I miss the way it used to be I doubt very much if I will return butotherwise had a good time. I know this looks like an odd combination but it is just what I wanted. Ceasar salad, onion rings and a beer. The salad was... perfect with just the right amount of dressing. The onion rings have a tempura batter making them crisp and delicious. The viewis one of the best at the beach. Read more
