All the baristas are incredibly kind and sweet, I love going every morning before I start work, but I?ve had my drink made with... dairy on 3 separate occasions when I paid and ordered almond milk. I have a dairy allergy so it made me throw up at work. Theyare all super kind I just wish customizations like that where taken more seriously because it can cause people like me to getreally sick. :/ Read more

A good Starbucks! Great location (very convenient for me at least), and service has always been relatively quick. The layout is... a bit strange (you enter closest to the pick up zone) but it isn't a big deal, plus it makes picking up mobile orders especiallyeasy. I am furious with the service I experienced at Starbucks on Elgin! Even though the Starbucks app allowed you to order, the... store itself did not have their hours posted on the door and Google stated the store opened at 6am, this was not the case. Thestaff were ignorant and ignored multiple customers standing at the door, resulting in one leaving as he had to get to work. Itwasnt until the second knock at the window finally a female staff member rudely told me the store opened at 630am. I triedexplaing thru the door that other avenues say otherwise however, she immediately went back to work instead of opening the storea few minutes early. When I tried mentioning the store hour postings again, all I was told this time by the male staff member,was "There was a glitch in the system", with no apology for the clear mistake that was made by someone within the company. Thisaggravating service ended with the female barista, slamming my coffee on the table and walking away, further being ignorantwhich is not the service I have come to know of Starbucks. Read more
