Quick stop over for coffee and hot water for the baby formula. This locations is at a busy corner in Ottawa's downtown, so if... you double park, make it quick. Otherwise you will be ticketed. Read more
It was my first time visiting last week, and due to the importance of my call it was a bad choice. The music was extremly loud... that you couldn't quite hear yourself think much less speak to someone else or concentrate enough to get any work done. This wasdifferent from other starbucks I have visited across North America which either played music very low or had no background musicplaying. Overall the customer service was quick and responsive, drink was good (marble hot choc) and the establishment was cleanand well kept. But despite all that not for me, even though its one of the only starbucks still open in the downtown core. Sotrying to give them the benfit of the doubt, I could have likely spoken to them about it as well, but I could not leave myimportant call. But despite all the issues with the noise I will give them at least 3 overall. The noise issue can be easilyresolved but should be addressed as it impacts the overall ambience, and they should have more sensitivity to different peoplevisiting their establishment than just the staff that work there and enjoy their music. Yesterday was my trip to the Canada Science and Technology Museum and I had two stops in this Starbucks branch, before and after... my trip. It was a very pleasant experience and the staff are well-trained. The morning staff was able to keep the line going ina normal pace with a gap of 2-3 minute between customers; given the busy morning schedule of this cafe, that's prettyimpressive. Their hard work is evident and the smiles on the faces were present, as they should be. The afternoon staff finishedmy exchange request in less than 5 minutes, and with only **1** relay of instruction without forgetting confirmations forpreferences. The afternoon staff displayed an amazing teamwork on this request and a wonderful customer service, as it shouldbe. Both visits on the same day did not disappoint, sleek and efficient. Keep it up! This Starbucks outlet is one of the cleanest and one with very courteous staff I have come across. They are located on the main... road and quite easy to spot. They are usually stocked up all their drinks, food and condiments along with mugs and goodies. Theyhave a quite a lot do dove inside for a couple of people to stand at any given time. However, they are a bit on the pricey side.I guess Starbucks in general are compared toothed local coffee shops. Read more
The servers are very nice and friendly. However, I do think their quality lacks, more comparatively to Starbucks in Rideau... Centre. I would order the same drinks from the two locations, and the drink would taste quite different with different quality(Rideau being the much better quality). The below three drinks in two pictures are all the exact same drinks I have ordered atboth locations, but have received very different results. We ordered the two Coconut drinks (Matcha and Guava). The matcha wastoo heavy and thick that it was very bitter and felt like I was drinking a healthy shake, than enjoying a delicious drink. TheGuava was watery and just okay. For the bottom picture Matcha Latte with Sweet Foam, the foam was non-existent and the latteitself was pretty bitter as well. Read more
Perfect little Starbucks, much like the others, except there was a bit of funky art lines on the wall. The staff were friendly... and service was quick enough. My flat white was okay, but I have had better from other Starbucks. He really really reallyenjoyed his Apple Crisp Macchiato and has declared it his new favourite fall drink.
