Very tasty and huge portions!! Staff are friendly. I recommend getting the beef as I personally find it better than the chicken.... Only reason I didn’t give the full 5 stars is because it was a bit pricy… For two shawarma plates and 2 cans of pop it was$50. I recommended getting one plate and sharing it if you’re not going alone. Read more
In town and went to Palace to eat some falafels and surprise they did not have Falafel! Family walked to the King and went with... low expectations. And what a relief that had Vegan options on the board. We were 7 of us and the person on the countersuggested we take the Vegan Family Feast that feeds 5. The good thing is that all of it was vegan even the garlic sauce which israre. The salad, the grilled veggies, the rice, the potatoes (fresh batch made just for us), plenty of pitas, the garlic sauceand hummus. We bought for 5, we were 7 but could have easily fed 10-12 easily. Our first visit. Did a chicken shawarma platter takeout for 4 people. Also ordered small veg portion aswell.I found chicken... little dry. Rice was different in taste if I compare it with Shawarma Palace on Carling Ave. They did not give much potatoes. Read more
Had my lunch for the first time here and it was delicious. Ordered Falafel platter which was a good portion that two can easily... share. Chicken platter too was delicious. I highly recommend this place if you want a good portion of tasty meal for reasonableprice. Read more
An Ottawa institution, been a tradition that when we are in Ottawa, a must stop. Just a few blocks south of the office buildings... and parliament hill. The platters are huge and of good value but for a snack, the wraps are mighty filling. Unique from otherShawarma places in that you have choices: small, large and XL. Read more
