I think my I found my favorite cafe place . Just love their coffee/latte and smoothies omgggg!!!
Horrifying experience yesterday, had to throw my food/drink out immediately!! Last evening around supper time I purchased a hot... drink and a treat. Firstly, the person serving me used tongs to pick up the treat but then took it with his BARE HANDS (nogloves even) and put it in the paper bag. Ugh. It gets worse. He?s making my hot beverage, goes and rifles through his locker,finds some sort of metal object (maybe a large paper clip?) uses it and his bare hands to fiddle with the milk frother then PUTSTHE MILK FROTHER BACK IN MY DRINK! He didn?t wash the metal item, he didn?t wash the frother, he didn?t wash his hands. Ohthere?s more? then he used his bare hands to put a lid on my drink and PRESSED THE LID DOWN WITH THE PALM OF HIS BARE HAND. Thatmeans his bare hand was pushing against where I would drink from the cup. I walked away and threw everything straight in thegarbage. This is disgusting! Read more
I have never been a fan of chain coffee, and Second Cup proved to be no different than other chains. Only slightly better than... Timmies. But, when in a hospital you?re a captive customer. Read more
I love second cup coffee and especially their cappuccino done dry like the old times and the way the Turkish and Italian people... drink it. I recommend that you try this coffee and anything else they have at Second Cup. The location at the Ottawa GeneralHospital serves great hot drinks and cold. Much better than anywhere else at the hospital. If you need or just want a break tryit out, you won't be sorry. Read more
Because of this location that I now drink a lot more expensive coffee. My wife had a couple kids at the general and I would... sneak down there for coffees all the time. The caramel corretto is my favourite. Very smooth and doesn't taste watered down atall. Read more
Ottawa hospital location was very great! It's the busiest I've ever been to but the most efficient. You can tell who's been... there the longest and they always run things smoothly. They could definitely do better by hiring more workers. I've noticed ahigh turnover rate and it seems that they're very often understaffed. Great job, guys! You're doing a great job of keeping staffawake and making us regulars happy! Read more
Everyone was friendly and efficient, lots of staff on duty to help move the long line quickly and efficiently which I really... appreciated. Big shout out to the girl running the espresso machine she was on fire. Made my medium "decalf skim milk mocha withwhip - no foam" in record time and I saw her give it a good stir with a big spoon before she expertly applied the whip - whichmakes a huge difference. Then, she was super nice about adding some caramel drizzle to top it all off. I really needed to sitand have this break in my day - she and the rest of the staff this morning helped me start to relax by providing out-standing customer service. Thank you everybody!
