Really good food and service, definitely refreshing seeing a business run so smoothly
We were staying at Les Suites, so had breakfast at La Presse twice. This hard working couple create fresh and delicious food in... this small space. Lovely! Just ordered some breakfast and lunch and not only is it delicious but the staff left a lovely note for me as well as... some extra teabags just in case I was after a stronger taste! Ordered from here on skip-the-dishes and was super impressed. 10$ for breakfast and a coffee, great portions and very... tasty. Highly recommend for anyone in the downtown/sandy hill area looking for a great place to have breakfast :) Read more
Great breakfast! I ordered from them via Skip a few times and they leave nice little notes on every order. My last order was... delayed (due to Skip not having enough drivers). Even though it wasn't their fault, they left another note apologizing andgiving me 2 free chocolate chips cookies which were delicious! :) Read more
Espresso in a hotel, awesome breakfast Was staying at Les Suites, this cafe is connected to the lobby. Thank goodness because... they have a better (and cheaper) breakfast than most hotels. And legitimate espresso. I had a croissant breakfast sandwich andthey made the egg fresh right in front of me. Great place, great prices. Read more
On the bright side; the location is good. That said, the cafe latte tastes like burned beans in warm milk, not that I ever... tasted it but but I imagine it would. The food presentation is lacking any attempt to look nice - just splashed on your plate.At least you can watch the egg master doing his job - so no worries about cleanliness. Read more
Good coffee, very basic breakfast with low quality ingredients, potatoes were sitting on the grill from the moment I came in ,... and that's what they served in my place ,bacon is basically hard. Good service though Read more
