Beware, of this location on Richmond Road, Ottawa!! This is the second time I've ordered online and paid, yet they haven't... prepared my order. Earlier this year, I placed an order for pickup, only to find it unprepared. It was near closing timeand the ?cashier/manager?, not the kitchen staff, scurried around to make my order. Her efforts produced chicken that wastotally deplorable and uneatable. It appeared to be repurposed stale chicken, which was re-fried. It was absolutely only ?fit for the garbage. I have tried to contact the franchisor on several occasions, never to receive as much as a single callfrom him or her to determine the matter. Had I reached the franchisor, I would have expected some form of compensation. Lastnight, I made a mistake ordering from this location. Once more, I arrived for my fully paid order, only to find it notready. Realizing that my order was not ready, I requested a refund. Naturally, I expected to be refunded rightaway. Frankly, something is completely wrong, when a company expects to keep a customer's money unlawfully, for a service thathas not been received. No matter how many times the "manager" attempted to refund me (at least 8 times), the transaction wasdeclined. The slip of paper read; ? amount too large421?. Is this an attempt to override the refund system on the part ofthis location? As there was a problem with their system, I would have thought, the manager would have refunded me incash. However, she refused and said that I had to come back the following day to talk to themanager. This Popeye location, I suggest you avoid it, so that something similar does not happen to you. My experience atOttawa?s other Popeye's locations have been great. This manager could use a lesson so as to become a better manager, who cansolve issues on the spot, and leave the cooking of the chicken to the kitchen staff. Read more

I have stopped by at least 5 times in the past 2 months or so to get chicken breasts. Only 2 or 3. Each time, they have no... chicken breasts, no matter what time I stop by! Girl at the front cash was rude and dismissive. Store was very dirty. I'll nevergo back to this location. Read more
