Conveniently located in/ close to Byward market. Simple menu. With daily specials at $12.95, you shouldn?t go wrong. Walked... in close to 11 pm on a week day and there was a line of people making their orders. Although there were seats available ,tables were not cleaned nor sanitized in between. Bathroom was marked out of order. Food order was quick but no attentionbeing paid to spiciness of the order despite the fact it was on the order slip. And the staff would not tell thedifference. The portion was not large , in fact rather compact. But salade was rather tasting. However the rice was too dryand even with the sauce it was not great. Hence 4* rating. Read more
This is an awesome place for students looking for cheap food. Indeed the amount that you get for the money is awesome. The... people are friendly enough and clearly mean well, but the delivery and quality is sad, and indeed not fresh. They get the meatsfrom a drawer below the rotisserie which is just re-heated and thrown together in pita bread. It?s great for late night, if youneed to eat something , but don?t expect quality. The Good: location is very convenient & open late. There is also ample amount of seating available. Chicken Sandwich was really... tasty. I did ask for little spicy but it was considerably spicy.
