The food is really good, and the service is alright. As someone who enjoys eating during the day, the hours are a bit strange,... but clearly the owners are onto something. They even managed to stay operational through Covid, with these hours! Maybe it's thefood, maybe people just enjoy eating burgers at 11:00 at night, I don't know. 2 years ago they updated the area. It use to be the best place on campus for food. You could get pizza, poutine, burgers, at... reasonable prices. They decided that instead of continuing their contracts with the restaurants they would make there ownrestaurant. Now it is an over priced sub par food with a horrible customer experience. The line is long and the food takes 2times as long as it use to, to make it. Also the customer experience is terrable. They also cheap out every penny they can onquality for the non food items, there chips are the cheapest plastic, and the condiment section is always a mess that is understocked. Total life saver, if you are at carleton for late notice night studying. Their meatball sub and chiken parmesan are good. As... well as their geilled chicken pizza. If you are looking for a cheap way out. Just get a burger with a combo. Fills you right up. Read more

Before the renovation Oasis used to be open during most holidays, reading week, etc. it was very reliable for people living in... residence who want something to eat after The Caf has closed. Now it's closed just as often as everything else on campus,completely negating it's previous value. Read more

The renovation makes for longer lines since there is only one cash, and one restaurant. Staff is a disaster. The woman operating... the cash register seemed lost, kitchen staff was visibly dysfunctional in the back, to the point where one of the chef's stormedout. Simple orders took very long, and were misplaced or completed twice. Meanwhile the manager seemed to be running around likea chicken with his head cut off, rather than giving direction or helping out the staff more. Also, the renovation is ratherugly, looks like a concrete parking lot. This place was never that great, but it's definitely gotten worse. Read more
