We had a 6:30 reservation and by 7:30 had not even recieved drinks. This place was the absolute worst experience I have had in a... decent chain restaurant. We were blessed to be served by Devin, she made excellent food suggestions which we really enjoyed. There was a rainstorm and... she went outside in the rain to close the tool up doors. This girl just goes above and beyond one of the best servers I have hadin a long time. The food was great the environment was great we really enjoyed our evening there. Read more
My wife and I had dinner here for our Anniversary a few Saturdays ago. Was not a good experience and would not recommend. For... starters we sent our calamari back because it was soggy and over seasoned. The kitchen sent a smaller portion back, cookedbetter but still very salty. Our ribs came and was obvious they had barely touched the grill: only the slightest grill marks,left on only long enough to warm the sauce. The seasoning on the ribs also so very salty, salt even crunched in my teeth. Mywife did not finish hers. Ribs came with "dill coleslaw", but there was no dill and the cabbage was browning. Also big hunks ofonion, not properly sliced. We told our server we were not happy and she brought a desert, but key lime pie had not been wrappedafter being sliced so the sides were dry and gummy. Service was friendly, but not very attentive. We had to request that theserver remove our menus from the table when our main arrived. I've been to this restaurant several times but today was the worst experience. We were seated at the back and NO services or... water offered for a while. I had to came to the front and requested to move table so we can be visible to the server. Server hadno service mind. Steak knife was placed right on the wine stain on table (see picture). My water was out and no refill wasoffered. Server never came and check if we need anything or if the food was OK. What a bad service. The restaurant was not evenbusy. This is the first time I decided to leave no tip. Will not come back. Read more
I know it's finished but it's for a good reason it is a wonderful restaurant. The presentation is really pretty and the food is... exquisite. The service was superb a go to if you visit Ottawa! Read more
My friends and I had a nice friendsgiving here! Atmosphere was great, service was courteous and waiting time was short.... Definitely a good place for celebrations with friends/family. Only negative thing I'd say really is that the desert menu islacking in options. Read more
4.5 stars based on great and courteous service, yummy food and overall atmosphere. Unfortunately pricing is a bit high and when... we were on the patio there were several wasps (seasonal annoyance; this year is particularly bad). Lower prices and have somesemblance of wasp control (I.e traps or decoys) and I’d give this establishment 5 stars. Read more
I often get the sense that Milestones wants to be a higher quality eatery with the laid back feel of a chain. While they get the... chain part right, I feel that their food too often fails to meet their own high standard. For instance, during a recent visitat this location, the mushroom soup I ordered was "meh", while the veggie burger was no better than what I could find at manyother places. What was different here were the relatively high Milestone prices. That said, I want to give kudos to our serverwho was excellent. Not only was she very attentive, she did not charge us for a salad that my wife ordered that had way too muchdressing, even though we had not asked her to do so.
