I love their food, as does my family. The staff are pleasant and helpful. The menu is posted above the cashier where you place... your order. This is a take-out restaurant. I love their bowls! Everything is so fresh and prepared to perfection. The staff is always warm and welcoming.
Tonight was my first time trying Mad Radish. I got the Moroccan Chicken Soup foe take out. It seemed light but I didn't think... too much about. I got home (5 min drive away), opened up my $9+tax soup to find it was over half empty...maybe a half a cup inthere (no it didn't spill on the drive)...and it's cold. They could have just let me know if there wasn't enough left for anorder or something. Staff also struggled to answer questions and input the order. I will not be returning. Read more
I ordered the Caesar salad through Uber Eats and it came to $30. It was so small, with four little pieces of... salted-beyond-belief chicken. I paid for extra broccoli and avocado, which I don?t think they added. I actually looked in thedelivery bag to see if there was something missing that I needed to add to the salad. There was not. It did not have croutons orbacon on it, which was part of the description. It disappointed in every aspect: portion, size, price, taste, presentation (thelid was not secure - it seemed like half of it was eaten)? I understand if they were out of ingredients at the end of the day,but give me a call to see if there?s anything else to offer. Other restos have done this. Food is tasty, but there?s too much sauce and richness in the food. The flavors of the vegetables should come through, but it?s... completely overpowered by sauce. Also no sandwiches were available, and the prices are high for what you get. Everything wasfresh, but overall I don?t think it?s a place I?ll visit again. Edit: I appreciate the quick follow-up from the co-founderbelow. It shows that they clearly care about their business. I visited this location from out of town, so unfortunately I can'ttry another meal any time soon. I'm keeping my review at 3 stars, but I encourage others to visit this restaurant. Very happy with my order! I ordered ?The Flaming Hot Batata Bowl? and ?Piri-piri bowl? for takeout. It was delivered quickly.... Always love that! The packaging was very neat and well done, not a single leak and it was compostable. The bowl quantity waswonderful and quite fulfilling. It was full to the top of the bowl! Worth the money spent. Thai curry salad!! That is all! It's been years since I have had Mad Radish, and lets be honest, I was not impressed at first.... Since then, they have come along way, and upped their salad game. I cannot stop thinking about the Thai curry salad. It's SOgood. The chili peanut dressing has so much zing and kick to it, I can drink it. The only reason why I cannot make this a full5 star rating is the portions! I understand they use the best ingredients they can get their hands on, and produce ain't cheapthese days, but if they just gave a tad more in their bowls it would justify the $14.00ish salad price.
