Deeply overpriced for what you get. My butter chicken was all sauce ? there were only five 1-inch chunks of chicken in the whole... container. $17.99 for a bowl of sauce with a few measly pieces of chicken, no rice or naan included. The lamb vindaloo was alloil. A tub of fat with a few pieces of lamb. The garlic naan was rubbery, burnt on the edges and had the sour taste ofovercooked garlic. Avoid this place. It?s not good. I?ve ordered from here twice now and after eating it I realized why I only ordered once before. The sauces taste ok but whatever... kind of chicken they use, it is god awful so disgusting! It?s dark meat which most places I order from use white meat. But nobiggie, dark meat still taste ok? this stuff has the grossest taste. I for sure will never order from here again now that Iremember how awful the chicken taste. The biryani also lacks flavour. Overpriced for gross food. Read more

By far the best Indian food I have ever tried (I've tried numerous places). This restaurant was recommended to me by many... people, and it lived up to the hype. My wife and I ordered the butter chicken (mild) and chicken samosas, and the food wasexceptional. Authentic, fresh, juicy, and very generous. The flavour profile was on point. One of the very few hidden gems inOttawa. I would highly recommend. Read more

We've tried many Indian restaurants in Ottawa but so far none of them come close to the taste of food at Indian Affair Takeout.... The Chicken Malai tikkas were flavorful and juicy. The mutton seekh seemed a tad dry but the taste was good. Kadhai Chicken wasgreat, a perfect blend of spices and the Garlic Naan was delish too! The taste of their food is probably the closest to what youwould get in a restaurant in Mumbai/Delhi. Would definitely recommend!! Read more

Very affordable Indian food. Goat biryani (comes with bone) is good which I like better than beef biryani but both are similar... except meat. Biryani is nicely spiced in pulav style and dum but not Hyderabadi style. Raita is mediocre. Keema naan is verygood and goes well with curries. Goat nihari curry is good but cardamom flavour is dominating a little too much. Packaging fortakeout is good. Overall, an enjoyable experience. Read more
