Amazing food and service! My boyfriend and I have been trying to try more Indian restaurants and we got a recommendation to come... here. It's family owned and run and they're so friendly. All the dishes were delicious, but my favourite was the lamb saag. Itwas so tender. You have to come here :) Read more

Had an amazing dinner at Festival of India. Very pleased to learn that it's a family run restaurant. Parents are the chefs,... children take care of the front and do a great job of it. We chose the 'meal for 2 non vegetarian' so that we could try a numberof dishes. The butter chicken and lamb saag were to die for. The lentil soup was so flavourful and the tandoori chicken was meltin your mouth. All of it was excellent. Truly an enjoyable experience. Will return. Read more

Authentic Indian food with excellent service. The decor is simple and elegant. Value for money. This is a hidden gem. The meat... is generous portions, good quality and well done (we had chicken, lamb and beef). The parathas ans naan are soft and fluffy andhonestly thr best I have had in any Indian restaurant. The gravies are made to thr T authentic. The only thing I would haveliked is raita instead of dry side salad. Absolutely money well spent. Read more

Worth it! Hidden gem of an Indian restaurant in Ottawa?s Little Italy area. We tried the Masala Chai, Lamb Biryani and the... Hariyali Tikka. Everything tasted fresh and authentic. They were happy to accommodate our dietary preferences and even let ourtoddler have some fun with some crayons and colouring sheets. Limited parking on the back (2-3 cars) so do try or else you canpark&pay on the road! Read more

We were looking for a decent Indian restaurant in Ottawa which was a bit challenging. First we went to Taste if India which is... not even an Indian restaurant. Food looked horrible and we walked out right away. Then we went to Haldi and dine in was closedas their staff didn?t show up for work. Then we found Festival of India. It was a nice restaurant. The service was bit slow butthe food was good. The staff was amazing. The naans were nicely done and were soft. Butter chicken and shahi paneer was tasty. Also it is located in Little Italy.
