I’ve never gone out of my way to write a review for a restaurant before but I had to for this gem. I ordered pho and spring... rolls for my boyfriend and I tonight for dinner and it was out of this world. The broth was so delicious and flavourful, thespring rolls were made hot and fresh to order. The portions are very generous as well. The gentleman that took my order alsograciously included a large homemade tiramisu which was so delicious and our personal favourite!! The food, the customerservice, everything exceeded our expectations, they went above and beyond and added a personal touch which you don’t see toooften anymore. Will definitely be coming here again and recommending to everyone! ( p.s we forgot to take photos because we atethe food right away - sorry!) Read more

This place has some good pho. We ordered a rare beef pho and a veggie/tofu pho. Both tasted good. What really stood out to us... was the broth in the beef pho, it has a distinct taste which is unmatched to other pho places around the area. I always getvegetarian pho, but next time will get the beef broth with the vegetarian toppings because it was just that good. Also we bothgot a small and found it very filling. I would only recommend the large if your really hungry or want to share. In addition, theman at the front- who I believe is the owner- is very nice and easy going. Overall a good experience, thank you crazy pho you. Read more

This take out cost me $70.75 (including 15% gratituity). That's for two regular rare beef pho, 1 beef Bahn MI, and one pork/beef... Bahn MI. The broth alone IMO could have had more flavourful but maybe that's traditional to this restaurant or today was an offday. I was disappointed in the single serving of toppings (bean sprouts, cilantro etc.) With other pho restaurants we recieve ahearty helping of these cheap yet much needed additions. Once placed all together I still needed to add ginger and more broth. The onions were nearly too largely sliced for a good flavour balance. I didn't like on their website that I HAD to choosewhich hot thing I wanted on my Bahn MI. I don't like spicy and my options were siracha and Thai chili peppers. Again maybe I'mmisinformed. So all in all the Bahn MI was too spicy but had a good amount of meat and flavoring otherwise. The pho I makebetter at home so I hope this was a one off issue. The price was not at the level of the food quality and I'm fearing that therare times I do purchase pre made meals lately, they're going down in worth and up in cost. Thank you and I would welcomediscussion with the owners. You have my telephone number from today's order. Read more

I am a native Vietnamese visiting Ottawa with my wife and three boys (13,10,5) from Minneapolis and came across Crazy Pho You... based on the good Google reviews. What a phenomenal Vietnamese restaurant you Ottowans have. I have never written this on aGoogle review, but the rare beef and brisket pho I had was the best pho I have ever eaten in a restaurant! For determining thequality of pho, it’s all about the broth. The broth here had complex depth of flavor- subtly sweet, herbal notes from theherbs and spices, big beefy flavor from the meats, and the perfect amount of salt. Wow! I asked the owner Khanh what he doesto his broth and he says he cooks it for two days. That’s how he gets his complex flavors. Another first for me is thebrisket. Traditional pho with brisket contains chewy (sometimes shoe leather) brisket. I never eat the fat from the brisket. However, at Crazy Pho You, the brisket texture is melt in your mouth tender- meat and fat. I actually ate the fat! I make myown Pho and I smoke/bbq my brisket for 12-15 hours and cut slices to put into my pho. Crazy for You pho is just as good as myhomemade pho. My kids ordered the Lemongrass chicken with rice. That dish was excellent! The chicken was tender and had greatlemongrass flavor. We also ordered the cha gio (egg rolls) for appetizers. Definitely worth getting as an appetizer. Supertasty. Crazy Pho You is a must visit if you want to have fantastic Vietnamese food! Read more

A hidden gem near Bronson south of the 417. I highly recommend coming by for a Vietnamese treat. The Banh mi was delicious;... especially with the hot chillies. The bread is baked by another local business. The pho broth was mouth watering, you can’thelp but to drink the entire bowl after eating the meat and noodles. Give it a try! Read more
