Cozy place for coffee/tea/treats. Nice granola. Outdoor seating.
A friend recommended this place. Decided to have hot chocolate. I don't like warm or kinda hot hot chocolate. I asked the... cashier...please make it hot-hot. She took note. Charged me. And I waited. When i received my hot chocolate...it was onlykinda hot. Did I want to fight the battle? One that I was very specific on? Should I have tipped them to ensure my order wascorrect? I guess so. Busy location with friendly but slow service. Great iced drinks and the chocolate quinoa loaf is ao good.
I love their chocolate quinoa loaf. It is very spongy, flavory and it doesn?t feel heavy. The service is always great and... fast. They have 50% discount of pastries after 5:30 Read more
One of my favorites, a good cup of coffee with a raspberry scone. Not sure who supplies their scones, but they are good.
Good to see that that one of the original Bridgehead's has been renovated and cleaned up. Coffee is still pretty good along with... service. However the influence of retail chain uniform mentality has diminished the appealing individual character thatBridgehead used to have. Still they are far better than chain competitors such as St@rbucks, Second rate Cup and Tim0thys. Insum Bridgehead are better than the chains but lag behind the newer Independents such as Equator, Morning Owl, Happy Goat,Ministry of Coffee etc. Now they've sold out to Second Cup. Not a good sign. I have so many fond memories of this Bridgehead, I?ve been going here since I was a kid. I love that they have gluten-free... snacks (the GF muffins are fantastic!), and their coffee and hot chocolate is delicious. My most favourite thing about themthough, is how accessible they are! They have door buttons, an accessible washroom, and in general are very spacious and easy tomaneuver a wheelchair in. The staff are also so accommodating and cheerful, it always makes my day!
