Reviews for Booster Juice in Ottawa, ON
Really bad customer service. The managers need to train their staff better here. Staff should not prioritize online orders over... in-person customers. I was here Saturday, Oct. 29 at 3:30, and the burgeoning line-up reached the door, and the girl at thecounter was nonchalantly preoccupied with the Uber Eats/Skip terminals, and fulfilling those orders, not once acknowledging herreal-life customers. Drinks were not being made for any in-store customers at this point. I was at the front of the line andwaited 12 minutes (20+ mins in total) before being served by a guy that appeared out of the back. I couldn?t believe it. Had Inot been next in line, I would have left. I don?t think I will go back to a place that treats their customers like they don?texist. Read more

I had never tried the wheat grass shots before so I decided to try one today. To my surprise the girl who was making it didn?t... wear gloves. She was handling all the grass with bare hands and touching the counter and it was just alll very unappetizing towatch. I asked the girl who served me (Polly) if it might be more appropriate to wear gloves in this case given how much theyare handling the grass- her reply was ?when people wear gloves, they are less likely to wash their hands, so no gloves is saferthan wearing gloves?!!! (?!) I?m sorry but I?m in the healthcare industry and I?ve never heard this strange rationale before. Iasked if they could please re-make it with gloves. The girl was already halfway through my wheat grass shot, but she said theywould start over with gloves this time. However, she continued using the same juice she?d made without gloves. I asked herstraight up if they had TRULY started over, or if they had just put on gloves halfway through, and continued making it. Shetried to convince me that they had started over when they hadn?t - I was watching f the whole time!! I insisted that they hadnot started over, and so they threw out the first shot and then actually started a new one with gloves. The bottom line is thatI am OK with people making mistakes, or forgetting to put on gloves, but when I am lied to, and then given strange reasons forwhy it?s safer NOT not wear gloves? that crosses the line. This probably explains why she called me back to the cash at the endto give me a refund on my wheat grass. The food industry, similar to the health industry, especially during Covid times, shouldbe very vigilant in terms of cleanliness. The public expects a certain degree of diligence when it comes to handling andpreparing food. Read more

Why are you never open when you say you are? Your website says you open at 7. Four times in the last couple weeks no one has... been there at 8:15. Another day there was a "be right back" note on the door. No one came back for at least 15 minutes and I hadto go to work. Tried again this morning and no one answers the phone so I'm assuming no one is there again. Really frustrating.Love your smoothies, but you need to be open if you want customers. Read more
