The Thursday Meeting of the Brothers brought us here today as he was getting his car serviced nearby. Fast and friendly service... - drinks were on the table in short order. A HUGE menu ... several to be exact including the placemats and Specials. We bothopted for a wrap and shared half of each to try. Lots of food, we could have shared on wrap. It was very tasty and the onionrings and fries were good. Fully accessible. I declined to take the stairs to the subterranean washrooms. This place is an institution. Half restaurant and half diner. It's worn and dated and that, in a weird way, adds to the charm... of this place. Prices are on the high side but portions are "Bigg". I had the Reuben sandwich, it would have been better ifthey added thousand island dressing. Others in my party had a breakfast plate and a club sandwich, all okay. Bigg's restaurant has been open for as long as I can remember. This is a great little restaurant to sit, relax and catch up... with friends and family, I loved going with colleagues after work. Haven't been in a while (especially due to covid), so today Idecided to do a little takeout, I got a breakfast poutine loaded with bacon. It took everything in me to not order a giant slabof chocolate cake also. Lol ???? doesn't it look amazing!!! Next time. They have nice staff, cute decor and very nostalgicpieces. The atmosphere and food is great the staff are great and friendly, they always greet you with a smile or a laugh and when you... become a regular they don't forget like lots of places.
