Friendly staff, nice decor, overall a pleasant atmosphere, but the burger left much to be desired. I?ve included a picture of... the lettuce that made it onto my burger, the tomatoes weren?t even pretending to be ripe, and the bun and burger were bothcharred. The buck-a-shuck oysters and half priced mussels on Tuesdays had me, I couldn't pass it up! Would 100% recommend the... mussels!! Buck-a-shuck oysters (3.6/5) - oysters were good. They were average flavored, nothing special really, but for 1$ eachyou can't expect too much. Flavor was light and nothing memorable. 1LB Mussels (4.9/5) - the mussels in Cajun cream sauce wereperfection. They were cooked perfectly, the sauce was to die for and couldn't have been any better. Came with bread todip. Alligator bites (3.7/5) - the alligator bites were interesting and worth trying to say you've had alligator, but were notamazing. Restaurant needs a lift and we had the worse experience regarding the food. We had apps good thing we did not pay full price it... was Thursday night 1/2 price and the quality of food is terrible. We ordered three different apps and all of them wereterrible. We will not be going back there again. The nachos with chicken barely no chicken and served with a tiny little bowlof salsa (like really). Mussels served in a tiny bowl with hardly any sauce, the sauce looked greasy and it did no lookappetizing at all. The alligator bites it below average served with a sauce that did not tasted very well. anyways here is myreview. There was only one server and you get ditched along the way. Came here for my mom?s birthday. It was delicious. We had all never tried oysters before but our waiter AL told us we wouldn?t... be disappointed and he was right. Thank you AL for your kindness and warmth! It really goes a long way when you have suchwonderful waiters. Highly recommend!! Read more

I did not know there are Big Daddy's left out there and this one is located at the base of the Cartier Place hotel. Back in the... day I thought this place had a very good menu and apps but not so much anymore. this is an older bar/pub place. The service wasgood and drinks were good.. We ordered couple apps and they were so so. Sadly the place also closes early so we ended up downthe street . Liked this place because it wasn't very busy so you can actually hear your friends talk. The buck a shuck got us in the door the first time, the second time, the buck a shuck ???? but the bar staff's fun, friendly and... fast service will have you sticking around and coming back. The old faithful, always amazing, seafood fondu dip will take youback to the good old days...the cream of creole chicken soup was amazing the second time around, the first taste, they wereironing out the kinks but quickly rectified the issue. The special of garlic and wine cream sauce mussels, tasty and a plate ofsimple fried to dip into the mussels cream sauce, perfect pairing for sure. Free parking for diners also a huge bonus.
