Visited this restaurant for a small family reunion recently. The food was very good and the service was as well. However, after... I finished my meal I looked up and saw that there was a lightbulb directly above my plate that was filthy with dust and cobwebs.I looked around at some of the other bulbs on the ceiling and there were others in similar condition. Note: if you are stayingin the adjoining hotel and the hotel gives you a coupon for a free drink at this restaurant, you have to use it before thewaitress presents you with the bill. In other words, if you were hoping to have a drink AFTER your meal, you are out of luck.Even though we had just spent $170 and given the waitress a 40% tip, she was unhelpful when we asked about ordering our freedrink. I believe the coupon said something like "free drink with the purchase of a meal" or something similar. We HAD purchaseda meal. But they said it didn't count. We were then told that we could buy more food and then it would be free. But here's thecatch...the kitchen had just closed and our coupon was only good for another 2 hours. Read more
Pretty good experience overall. Great seating area/view, very tasty food, friendly waitress with good knowledge of menu. Only... ?not so good? thing was the wait for our meal, as it took quite a long time. (Kitchen I assume, not waitress) But overall theambiance, meal, service all made for quite a nice dining experience for myself and my (Oswego Laker) daughter. Thanks for a verynice evening! Read more
Honestly one of the best places I've been in a long time!! Great food, excellent and attentive service, relaxing atmosphere,... both live music and radio music available for entertainment. Very well placed in a local area near a movie theater and right onthe river with outdoor seating!! I strongly recommend a visit here and will certainly be returning in the future!! Read more
This experience was pretty solidly okay. Not great, not bad, just okay. The wait was very long, but I think that was just... because they were understaffed so that can?t really be held against them. It wasn?t busy at all though so I can?t imagine whatthe wait would be if the place was packed. The food tasted good but wasn?t anything special. Not sure if the quality matched theprice. One thing I will say is the menu needed some clarification. My mom ordered the Steak Oscar. Direct quote from the menu:?filet mignon medallions, grilled asparagus, lobster meat, bernaise sauce & roasted garlic potatoes? The plate arrived and wesearched for the lobster meat only to find small chunks in the sauce (which my mom had asked for on the side for dietaryreasons). I realize this is a small detail, but for someone with dietary restrictions, details are important. If the menu hadsaid there was a lobster bernaise sauce, it would have been much clearer. All in all we probably won?t return but not becausethey did anything wrong. We just know there are better places out there. But if you need a place to go on a Sunday night when abunch of other places are closed, it does the job. Read more
