The place was nice and cozy. Very intimate. Decor was pleasantly calming. We went on Seafood night. The food was great.Very... favorable. Sometimes looks can be deceiving, however my food was plated, and superseded my expectations. My Service waswonderful. However bringing the food to our tables was very slow. Seems as if the Chef prepared each plate individually. Thestaff was very accommodating, hence we came with child. I appreciate that tremendously. One statement for the owner/boss, eventhough you are in the kitchen, your patrons can still hear you and the way you talk to your staff! Yes the wait is long but that's because of small seating area and EVERYTHING is cooked fresh per order. But best of you call... ahead and you wont wait to be seated as long. Food was GREAT!!! This restaurant is by far one of the best restaurants we've been too. If you have an appetite for down home southern soul food... cooking this is the place to go. The atmosphere was wonderful. Music that moves your soul. Our waitress has great customerservice. The chef came out and greeted us after dinner too. Southern hospitality. Wonderful place to go.
