Hidden gem in Osoyoos! Delicious food and nice vibe. Service can be a bit slow because it?s just fully packed! We ordered duck... confit, tomato pizza, seared scallops and prawns. Amazing service and really good food, they have a really good margarita but was not a huge fan of the Manhattan. This place... usually gets relatively busy, so you need to make a reservation prior to coming here. Overall, we had a great experience. Theserver was extremely helpful and friendly. A tasty mix of French and Italian fare. It was very busy when we were there so service was understandably slow. Our food was... piping hot when it did arrive so we knew it wasn't because our server was too busy to bring it to us. I had the cassoulet whichwas very good. My wife enjoyed the cioppino. Read more

We had excellent food last Friday night. The service was a little slow but not annoyingly so. The place was packed and our... server was delightful as well as efficient. Ordered the watermelon salad out of curiosity and we both loved it. The feta wasvery flavorful and the balsamic glaze was amazing on the watermelon. I especially enjoyed the beans served with my lamb shank, anice change from the usual potatoes or pasta. Husband loved his cassoulet. Creme Brulee is one of my favorites and their versionwas outstanding - a rich egg custard with a crisp top that was easy to break (I'm not a fan of brulee that requires a chisel tocrack!) I am divided as to how many stars. 3 for part of our experience and 5 for other parts. The 3*s - Charging extra for a few pieces... of bread is simply a cash grab. We weren?t drinking the overpriced alcohol and I feel this resulted in a slower service. We weremore like an afterthought. The food should be served in smaller plates to give the impression that the expensive portions arelarger but my stomach does not lie - after the meal I was still hungry. We were seated in the enclosed patio area beside anunused stove with a narrow passageway. The servers did not bother taking the longer route to pass our table and it wasdisturbing with such close traffic as we were eating. Now the 5*s - the food tasted very good. The hostesses were very friendlyand made us feel very welcome. The covered patio space was comfortable and all of the customers were well separated with goodair circulation. We came to Osoyoos on our honeymoon, and this was my favorite place. The atmosphere was comfy, yet romantic, and the service was... great (note: it gets busy, so definitely make a reservation). The exterior of the restaurant is beautiful, just what a Frenchrestaurant should be. The wine pairings were good (though a word to the wise, the glasses can get pricey). We had a side of thecannelloni with veal as an appetizer & it was delicious, my favorite part of the meal. The steak au jus I had was delicious,though the fries left something to be desired ? I expected a unique flavor with the duck fat, but as far as I could tell, theywere just normal fries. My husband really enjoyed his duck confit & pork belly ? it was more comfort food than he expected, butoverall very good.
