I went here for the first time in like 20 years and it is still awesome. Good memories here. My waitress was amazing and had a... great sense of humor, very knowledgeable of the menu. I decided to go with the mushroom swiss burger with the upgraded patty anda butterscotch shake! Everything was soooo good. And way too much food. I had to take some home. Highly recommended Read more

I honestly don't know how this restaurant has 4.5 stars. We ordered $150+ worth of food for takeout and didn't like a single... item. We unfortunately ended up throwing most of the food away. The chicken fingers and breaded chicken tasted like the frozenitems you can get in the grocery. The breaded fish was mushy and had no flavor. The sirloin was dry and tough, while the mashedpotaoes were dry and hard. How can anyone mess up mashed potatoes?? All the bread were hard and stale. Even the spaghetti saucetasted like something straight out of the can. The reviews in here are very misleading. This restaurant should be ashamed aboutthe quality of food that they serve. Read more

This is a hidden gem in Oshawa. Absolutely fantastic deli with more of a traditional diner atmosphere. Food and service are... top notch. Prices are very reasonable for what you are getting. Definitely worth stopping in for a meal. Read more

The value for your money is unbeatable!!! Had the turkey dinner (real turkey, real mash potatoes), which I couldn't finish!... Prices are more than reasonable, service was friendly and attentive. You'd be hard pressed to find a better dining experience inall of Oshawa for the prices Teddy's charges. Read more

Food taste good and the service was excellent. The strawberry pie is just fresh strawberries with whipped cream that cost an... extra $2.42 (not told about this extra charge), and the coconut cream pie is really just cream filled. One of the mostun-authentic pies ever vs. fresh fruits. Plus, there was also an extra charge of $2.68 for a Caesar Salad? Not a good practiceto charge extra without been told first. Good thing I did not order an Onion Soup with pepper!! Plus I experienced a smallstomach discomfort and watery stool one hour later. Read more

This place is still very good but not as great as when the original owners had it unfortunately as some of the food quality and... service level has gone down a bit from how I remember it back in the day. It is still above average and the portions are heartyand the prices are more than fair for what you receive so kudos to them for still providing a great value to the people ofOshawa and those who visit. The food was fresh and still tasty and the house salad dressing is still on point. The desserts wereawesome as that coconut cream or strawberry pie is something to write home about. I?d always recommend to try this place outbecause it?s still a great time and for the price and what you get it?s tough to beat. Expect a slight wait at peak hoursbecause it is a popular place and does get busy at times. Also there is plenty of parking so no issues there. Read more

Classic diner bringing up nostalgia for the good ol' days. Good selection of melts and sandwiches as well as comforting dinners.... Portions are huge with mountains of meat. Vegetables are surprisingly good, not the boiled-to-death-frozen veggies that placesused to serve years ago. Sauces are a little salty, so I can see why many people ordered sodas to drink, but it goes with theoverall vibe of the food. Soup, salad, and bread add on to the meals is also a part of the fun experience! Read more
