Best steak we've ever had - hands down! Waaaaaaay better than Firebirds! Appetizers had depth in flavor, bread was freshly made,... desert was perfect and our waiter - Jesse made the night perfect! We sat in the lounge area but it was literally the bestatmosphere of any high end restaurant! I can say enough good things about this place! My fiance and I chose The Keg as it was listed on google as a romantic restaurant, perfect for a dinner date and let me tell... you, this by far was THE BEST CULINARY EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD!!! The food, the service, the ambiance, even the restroom wason point and beautiful. But of course everyone wants to know about the food, and service. Oh the food!!!! Delicious is not agood enough word to describe how good it was. It was absolutely DEVINE! Our steaks were perfectly medium rare. My shrimp andscallops were soft, juicy, and tender. Usually I stray away from scallops because they're rubbery and weird tasting, but nothere. These scallops were soft and sweet and the shrimp were equally delectable. My fiance's food was equally perfect, he wasvery impressed by the charred creamed corn, which was fresh, crisp, sweet, and creamy. As for the service,????????????????????????Kudos! This Keg restaurant has a beautiful location at oro valley and Catalina foothills. The restaurant was clean and we were warmly... greeted with doors held open. Our table was a bit wobbly (outdoor patio) but it was manageable. Our water was always full. Ourserver arrived promptly and our order was taken correctly. When our steaks arrived 2 of them were cooked more than requested.They were still absolutely delicious, but not our preference. The kitchen manager/chef came to our table to apologize for thesteaks. We told him everything was delicious and that we were more interested in just making sure the kitchen knew for futureorders. We had a wonderful experience. The Cesar salad was fresh and had lots of flavor /Parmesan! The garden salad had nicefresh veggies. The shrimp on my steak were good but borderline rubbery. This place is top notch! We were celebrating a 70th birthday and a 31st anniversary and wanted to go someplace special. Perfect... decision to dine here. We were personally greeted by the owner and they even sent over glasses of champagne for everyone at thetable to commemorate our special celebrations. The food was out of this world. Filet mignon done to perfection. Twice bakedpotatoes were a perfect side. For dessert, without a doubt, order the Billy Miner's pie. You won't be sorry! A huge shout out toour waiter Ruby! My wife and I discovered The Keg Steakhouse on accident today. We were looking for a new place to try and found The Keg... Steakhouse online. We enjoyed everything from the drinks to our fantastic dinner, the wait staff was friendly and courteous ourfood came out in a timely fashion. Amazing experience here! We went here for our birthday/anniversary dinner in AZ and Jack, our server, was phenomenal. Every time... I was unsure or asked for recommendations he would be honest, and was on point every time! I got the prime rib with scallops andshrimp- it was delicious! I think this is the areas best kept secret although it was pretty packed. We consider ourselves foodies and yet this was our... first time here. It was the perfect anniversary dinner. We will make reservations next time, actually we ended up in a booth inthe bar and it was quite nice. Our before dinner drinks and appetizers were fantastic, in fact we would go for drinks and thebaked brie alone. Our steaks were cooked perfectly snd they serve there filet, which melted in your mouth, with a beautifulbearnaise which not a lot of places do anymore, I lucked out, the lobster was cooked just right. Even the sides and salad weregood. The Billy miner for desert was to die for. The staff was warm and friendly. One of the best dinners we have had in a verylong time! My boyfriend & I had a great experience here for dinner! Our service was great & the food was delicious! Highly suggest the... baked Brie app & prime rib sliders, SO good! & the orange slice martini was delicious too.
