I'm a native Tucsonan, and I've been to most bars in town...Firetruck brewery is a top Tucson bar and restaurant that is locally... owned and operated by Firefighters serving great food and excellent locally brewed craft beers. I had their octoberfest and acode 3 IPA - highly recommend the Code 3. Its a fantastic beer and pairs well with their burgers. Check out the menu for greatpairing recommendations. This Tucson real estate agent gives Firetruck a 10/10! Definitely a place to check out. Read more

They were short staffed and not terribly busy but the waitress was nice but very absent minded. My lady ordered the cowboy... burger, medium rare. It not only was well done but burnt on one side and only had onion rings and cheese on it. She had tobring out 2 pathetic pieces of bacon and the BBQ sauce later. My mom's burger was also well done and she ordered it medium. Wewill not be back to this establishment ever. And I will recommend to others to stay away. Their excuse was that the cooks werefrom a different location. A cook is a cook, it's a trade. You should be able to cook anywhere and watch beef temperatures.Never again! Read more

Our waitress was super nice but seemed overworked. I think she was helping cook the food, because she kept disappearing in the... back. Our food was mediocre. My husband?s fish was burnt. My burger on my patty melt was not seasoned and I ended up puttingsalt and pepper on it. We were probably waiting 45-60 minutes for our food and it wasn?t even busy in the restaurant. Therestaurant was out of spoons, so my daughter had to eat applesauce with a fork. I noticed they were hiring for a line cook, sohopefully they can get one soon, so the waitresses can focus on serving instead of having to do everything themselves. Ourwaitress was wonderful and it wasn?t her fault at all that our experience wasn?t the best. Read more

Not impressed. Came in around 5pm. We were served very old tea. Tasted awful. Ordered a appetizer and our food. They brought us... all food but one person and said it will be out in a second. my onion rings were cold. No big deal The waitress disappeared. 30or more minutes later she appeared and brought the burger and said opps sorry about that. I just wont charge you for yourburger. Really?? I ended up sharing my food so my husband wouldn't starve. Was not impressed. Not sure I would return. That wasunacceptable. Bad service. Read more

What a fun little brewery! Friendly staff. Clean environment we arrived when it was not busy at all. We ordered a patty melt and... mushroom burger. Our water was always refilled promptly. We had the berry apple cider!! That is definitely delicious and worthtaking a growler home! The meals were ok. I had read good reviews so I am hoping this was just an off day. The burger wasordered medium and arrived dry and the mushrooms were super cooked/charred black. The onion rings were okay, not too greasy. Iwould try something else on the menu if I were to return. We were regulars when this place opened as Growlers USA. We enjoyed it for a while then it began to fall apart. It took us a... while to return but so far, so good. Wait time for food and order accuracy were always a problem, but not today. Service isfriendly, wait times are reasonable, and they have a good beer list. The tri-tip tacos were terrific. They also have a greatpatio with beautiful views of the Catalina?s and the sunset. Read more

Not five star, but a solid 4+. Had the Firetruck Salida del sol. Very good amber ale. Also the Blue cheese burger and Firetruck... wings. Both were very good. Wings are not your typical Franks red hot sauce so even the mild had a little peppery kick. Probablyjust a tad on the pricey side, but the food was fresh and pre-made. Read more
