Wow! I know we gotta eat to survive, but it's such a bonus when you ENJOY the meal! Very busy place (every table was full) but... well worth the wait. Everything tasted fresh, well seasoned and surpassed my expectations! Food that's as visually pleasing asit is delicious, that's a thing to be appreciated! Service was friendly and attentive in spite of how busy they were. Reallytook care of every table. I watched the front end manager greet, help serve and check on every table in the building. I also hada view of the kitchen from my seat and from my vantage point, I witnessed cooks wearing gloves and washing hands and serversdisinfecting tables (with a bleach-based cleanser that I totally appreciate) between customers. If you're still concerned withdine-in facilities, friends lemme tell you, they've got to-go so don't deprive yourself of this little gem! It was an accident Iended up here but I'm so glad I did. I'll be going back purposefully next time. Portions were huge and prices weren't! Onlyproblem..... it's hard to decide between the cannoli or tiramisu... so I just got both! Problem solved! Read more
Meat Stromboli was delicious. Stuffed to the edges with meat and mozzarella, and something about the sausage was amazing. Staff... was very friendly and despite being quite busy, the food was delivered quickly. Can't wait to eat here again! Read more

If you have only ever eaten Italian food in Daytona Beach maybe you would consider this decent. I had the shrimp scampi. My... husband had the chicken parm. My son had the spaghetti. It was factory made Italian similar to what one would have on an armyinstallation on pasta night. I could taste the Italian seasoning mix from publix. Why does this place have so many goodreviews?! I have lived in the south all of my life and unfortunately have never really had an appreciation for real pizza (meaning not... frozen or from a fat food place). That has changed. I tried some of my husband's pizza at Genovese's abut a week and half agoand it was amazing! I ordered the meat Stromboli and quickly decided I may not get around to trying anything else at Genovese'swhen we make it to Ormond Beach. The marinara they have me in the side was extremely flavorful. My Stromboli looked and smelledso good, I didn't even take a photo until I inhaled almost half of it. This is a definite must try if you live Italian food andare in or near the Ormond Beach area. Read more
Classically decorated, attentive and energetic staff, authentic food. Genovese's has a solid menu with great choices whatever... your budget or appetite. The portions were huge and very tasty. We enjoyed everything our server brought us. I am excited toreturn and try other things. The only thing I wish I saw was a larger beer menu but I don't hold it against them. They had afew, Including a local brew. . We had the cheese garlic bread, meat ball app, house bread, house salad, a Stromboli, andfettuccine Puttanesca.
