This is the weirdest place I've ever been. It's like a truck stop-buffet-bakery-restaurant-gimic store all in one. I passed on... the pickle buffet and came for the desserts. They looked as though they had been sitting out for.. quite some time. I asked thelady "do you guys make these fresh every day?" And she straight up ignored me, I asked again and still no response as shechecked us out.. Regardless some still looked good and weren't TOO expensive so we got two of the large cookie sandwiches. Theytasted a tiny bit off and that should have been the tell, as after eating a bit of one I became rather ill later that day.. Theyobviously don't make these fresh and let them sit out far too long. Tried this for the first time - ordered the fish and chips and was amazed at how delicious it was! I?ve had fish n? chips from... many places but this is truly the best I?ve ever had. The balance between the batter and the fish is perfect, I didn?t knowwhitefish could be so flavourful. I got this as a one-time treat but now I plan on putting BD Pickles on my list of favoriteplaces to eat. Being that it?s not advertised as a strictly seafood restaurant, it?s remarkable how good the fish is. They musthave an incredible chef working behind the scenes. Highly recommended! Read more
Come for the desserts, not the entrees. Although the pastrami was good the rye bread was a wet mess. The hot open faced turkey... was pressed turkey roll and the fries, while plentiful were burnt. The server worked very hard but was given too many tables. Read more
Loved it! The portions are generous and I found the price/value to be very good for the area. The waitstaff was super friendly... and attentive. In fact, we requested drink refills several times and as we were wrapping up our waitress offered to make refillsin to-go containers. Well done! The pickle bar is such a cool way to make a memorable impression. If pickles are yourthing...you can't skip this spot. Read more
Came in with a party of six, we all ordered different entree and ended up trying each other?s. EVERYTHING was excellent! We... then all ordered different desserts and they were ALL amazing. Our service was wonderful too. Excellent food, amazing dessertselection (look at them on display before ordering), friendly, quick, great service sums it up. We will definitely be back! Really great food and has a full bar and bakery too! Also has outdoor seating ---must try the fried fish, & shrimp & chicken... Parm (which is huge plate size dish! Shareable size!) Omg and their cheesecake is amazing! Read more
Not sure why there are any reviews <4 ? s . Food is very competitively priced, the portions are generous, and everything tasted... great. This is an excellent choice to dine with your family. (Kids received a free cookie, kids meals are unbeatably priced /comped). Will be back. Read more
