We made reservations a month in advance as it?s the holidays time and you never know! We arrived at our reservation time and was... told they would text me when the table was ready. We went into the gift shop and did some pin trading. I would say we waitedabout 15 min. We got one of the round table more towards the back and when I asked if we could have the corner table it seemedto be too much trouble so I decided to just stay. Our waiter was Martin. He was very kind and attentive. I was told about some?antics? that may go on, but the entire meal was normal and never any funny stuff or even jokes. Just a very friendly waiter. Wedid have a fun ride around the restaurant riding older wooden pony?s! My 6 year old absolutely loved this. Also, anytime someonewas celebrating a birthday, the whole restaurant was asked to sing. So that was fun too! For meals we had the TraditionalSkillet, NY Strip, House Salad and the kids had Grilled Chicken & Tenders. Oh and let?s not forget the wonderful Corn Bread! Theskillet was great, and since it was just me, I did need a 2nd helping (which is complimentary as it?s all you can eat) Theskillet came with Pulled Pork, Brisket, Chicken, Corn, Mashed & Green Beans. Everything was super yummy, and I just love theirBBQ Sauce. My hub was not crazy about his NY Strip, but I tasted it and I thought it was great. The kids food was hot, fresh andyummy?except maybe the fries, they were kind of old and not very tasty. Overall I really enjoy the ambiance and food here. Andfor a family of 4 we paid, with tip, $131. For a Disney Restaurant in a Disney Resort, I?d say that?s decently cheaper thenmost! I do hope to return here some day in the future, and maybe hit the Lottery and stay in the beautiful resort it resides in???? Read more

Whispering Canyon Cafe is a restaurant in Wilderness Lodge. This restaurant has an old west twist to it with many paintings of... cowboys riding horses. The service was quite energetic and comedic. Has lots of puns, including a big sheriff hat and the CanyonJail. Don?t forget to bring ketchup! The food was very good. At the Brunch time, it is highly recommended to get The Heritage,as it has all the items you need on the menu. The eggs, potatoes, sausage, and biscuits were very good. Overall, would recommendWhispering Canyon Cafe to anyone. A very delightful place. Read more

I have eaten here several times, once was the "All-you-can-eat" dinner skillet, and the breakfast "skillet", also... "All-you-can-eat". My only issue was that these items are not made "per order", once it hits your table some items may not be asgood as it looks. The 3rd time I went I ordered the pulled pork sandwhich, which was rather good, moist and I had nocomplaints. I also went again, ordered the same dish...this time the dining room wasn't that full, so..."Ketchup" did come intoplay! My last visit was their Bison Burger, again a dry meat...and wasn't that great...but enjoyed the fried pickle ontop! Also one good tip, order the "large" drink item...you will get what appears to be about a liter worth of drink! Read more

Wow!!! The food is exquisite!!!! Service is above and beyond, per usual. Meridith did absolutely amazing with our vegan meals.... She was knowledgeable as she educated us every step of the way, assuring our meal was safe for us to eat. She was also greatwith the 2 toddlers we had the table! The restaurant itself is loud due to the entertainment of the wait staff, so prepyourself. :-) Make sure you order ketchup. ;-) Read more

KETCHUP PLEASE! Whispering Canyon has such a fun family atmosphere, cast members are clumsy (on purpose if you don't know) and... love to joke with you and about you. So be prepared! We had a late breakfast, it's all you can eat, and had 3 skillets in ourparty of 3 (2 adults 1 child) and boy we were full!! The Mickey waffles are so good paired with all that fresh fruit. Lots ofbacon, eggs, sausage links, potatoes and biscuits w/ gravy. We really enjoyed it. Read more

We've eaten here a few times. We had reservations and were seated within 10min of arrival. The staff is friendly and the food is... good. As part of the "theme" of the restaurant they throw the napkins and straws on your table for fun. They have bottomlessmilkshakes (chocolate, vanilla, or strawberry and you can switch the flavors for your refills). If you steal the ketchup theyput you in a pretend jail at your table. They have breakfast and lunch options available during lunch. Our table ordered acombination of the two. The pork sandwich is pretty good along with the sweet potato fries. Read more

The servers are wonderful! Such a great time every time! Even with the constraints of the pandemic, they find new ways to have... fun and keep the crazy loudness of the establishment in full swing. The food was fantastic. The kids all you care to eat skilletwith the Mickey waffle, Mickey egg, and Mickey biscuit is not only delicious but magical for all the little ones we brought withus. Overall, I've been here for breakfast and dinner and will always recommend this gem! Read more

I had high hopes for Whispering Canyon, especially after looking the menu over and seeing many items I know I have a personal... affliction for. The cafe is set in a beautiful resort and the lobby was a nice visual setting while waiting for our table. Onceseated, we ordered fairly quickly, and was surprised that each member of the party could order their own version of the trayinstead of the entire table sharing one option. The cornbread was good, moist, and tasty, and would end up being the onlyhighlight of the meal. When the trays arrived they looked fantastic, but unfortunately the positives stopped there. The pulledpork and chicken was dry, the ribs and brisket were fatty, and the green beans were undercooked. The sausage didn't warrant anyspecial mention. As a personal preference, I did not like any of the sauces used on the meats, this may not be your experience. The mashed potatoes were the best part of the main course. Being from a BBQ region of the United States means I've tried a LOTof good barbeque, and I'd rate this at the level you'd find from one of those chain buffet places you never eat at because, well, they're disgusting. All told, with three adults meals, two bar drinks, and tipping the server, this meal rang in at justunder $200. Certainly on the high end of a Disney dining option and not nearly as good as some of the half priced sit downoptions we enjoyed on this trip. Your experience may differ, you may not have as high standards for your BBQ meats, but I'd passthis one up for many better choices around Disney. Read more
