We were at the waffle house one morning. When we arrived they were very busy, they weren't many table's. As we waited the host... asked if we would like to sit at the counter, as there were 2 seats available. We took it. The waitress was very nice, friendly.It was an open kitchen which I like.they had 3 people doing the cooking, they seemed efficient. Food was good, service alsopretty good. We asked for the check ...lol...they still did it the old fashion way pen and paper small handheld calculator. Notvery efficient, but I guess it works for them. Unfortunately this might be one of the worst experiences that I've ever had at Waffle House. First off,I waited over 20 minutes... for the waitres to come over to my table to help me even though she wasn't waiting on anyone else.Then, it took over a hour toget our order.To top it off,grits were crusty, omelet was burnt,and the T bone was on the small side.Thanks Sierra,but nothanks. This was my first visit to a Waffle house. I must say, it was a little chaotic. The seating process was pretty unorganized and I... wasn't sure who was paying or who was waiting for a table. That said, the food tastes great and was reasonably priced, and thewaitress Mo was friendly and quick. I would definitely visit again next time I'm in the area. Read more
