The food was delicious and a needed escape from theme park food for us. Everything was deliciously seasoned and perfectly... grilled. My favorites were the scallion and chicken skin yakitori. The only one I wouldn?t recommend is the pork belly kushiyaki- it was too lean/dry for my liking. My only complaint is that the place is confusingly self-serve seating. When we arrived,all the tables were taken, and it was pretty unclear what we should do - circle the restaurant and wait around for someone toleave? This place is a real gem. The bar is a good size, the drinks are always satisfying, the atmosphere is beautiful and relaxing not... to mention the Japanese ornamentations and dining. This is a MUST visit place when in Orlando! The whole aspect of it is completely different. You will not regret (it might be... tough to find seating) BUT at the end it?s worth it. Food is always on 100% and so are the drinks. Food is kinda like smalltapas servings, so you?re gonna have to order a lot of them to get a full dinner out of it. There?s servers that only bring outyour food, they don?t take order, all the food and drinks have to be ordered at the bar. I would say this place is more of ahang out and drinks type of place, perfect to go with a group of friends for good time! I went here to celebrate a birthday in the evening. The atmosphere is somewhat like a Lounge. You seat yourself. Bartender was... amicable and engaged us with funny conversation. The drinks were super strong but good and worth the price. We ordered blue craband corn croquettes, pork belly gyoza, garlic crab fried rice, smoked trout/ blue crab dip and pork belly skewer. Excellent mixed drinks and great small plates in an enjoyable atmosphere. I have been here several times and have never been... disappointed. While the drinks are very good, the food is where this place shines. I have tried almost everything on the menuand there is not a dish I haven't enjoyed. There is a great variety of Japanese inspired food and cocktails. There is also agood beer selection. Drinks are ordered and prepared at the bar. Food is ordered at the bar and brought to your seating area. Itcan be quite busy earlier in the night and parking can be a challenge. Read more
The food here is really great!! The cocktails were delicious too. The restaurant is really nice and usually packed. My only... complaints is the fact that you sit yourself it took me a long time to find us a table and the food took a long time. Also thefood portions are super small kind of like tapas. The lamb pops were perfect though, will come back just for those. Read more
Holy cow this spot was absolutely delicious. Incredible cocktails and really rich flavors for the yakitori we tried. Each skewer... was perfectly seasoned and had the perfect kiss of charcoal for a full flavor. Went around 6pm on a Saturday night. The line bythe door moved very quickly, but it can be a little stressful once you get inside on busier days. You seat yourself (easier saidthan done during busy times) and then you order at the bar. They give you a number and your food will be brought to whereveryou?re sitting or standing. Timing worked out, we were able to grab a seat and everyone we interacted with was really friendly.
