Went on a Saturday afternoon and had the best time. The food we had was so good. I had the NHC Chicken Sandwich & let me tell... you it's not an ordinary sandwich it's a elevated chicken sandwich ???? I also got the Everything nice cocktail. Parking was apain but that's only because it was Pride Day that day. They also have an outdoor seating area. Will return soon for HappyHour. Perfect place to eat dinner before a night in Downtown Orlando. Read more
Excellent Saturday brunch at the Stubborn Mule. We started with Bloody Marys, which were delicious, and the pork belly, which... was phenomenal. Perfectly cooked and seasoned with a creamy dipping sauce. It was a huge portion! I got the shrimp and grits formy main. The shrimp were delicious and perfectly cooked. The grits were cheesey and tasty, but a little dry. It was almost likea grit cake more than grits. Our other entree was the Who Woke Up First (I think that was the name), which was basically a donutwith fried chicken tenders and bacon on it, topped with a donut hole. Very creative and interesting, and tasty! It was servedwith breakfast potatoes, which were also delicious. Overall an excellent brunch, and we enjoyed the unseasonably cool Floridatemps on the patio. We asked a local while taking a walk where their favorite lunch place is and she told us about the stubborn mule. We LOVED it.... Jessica was amazing, the food was amazing, the drinks were amazing. Jessica answered all our questions and gave us the perfectrecommendations. It’s my friends birthday today and the overall hospitality and experience really made our brunch a new corememory for us!! ** Side note: the food portions are huge. I've been here a few times and I enjoyed each visit. They have a bar & table service as well as a patio (Mosquito alert! I was... seriously attacked by them once.) I recommend you to make a reservation if you prefer an indoor table as they have limitedavailability. The bar and most of the tables outside were available whenever I visited. Great service, they are very responsiveto requests. If you are planning to have a conversation or looking for a quiet spot, the patio would probably be better. I findit a little too noisy inside, especially at the bar. (The tables might be different though, I've never tried them.) Read more
Great food, tasty drinks, and a solid people watching patio in front, which is great during the wine walks every 2nd Thursday of... the month. Appetizers come out quick. Pork belly is a must! Just pick any of the mules and it will be good, Spartacus is myfavorite. For a pub type atmosphere inside, the food is phenomenal and can’t go wrong with the burgers. Let’s just say sinceI live only a block away, this place has forced me to jog around Lake Eola more than I expected. Don’t even get me startedwith the brunches, bottomless mimosas, just go and enjoy. For brunch make reservations to make sure you get a table. I made reservations for dinner but we were the early enough it may... have not been necessary but it did get busy. This place had really excellent service and superior food. I had The stubborn mule burger, which includes, Havarti cheese... fondue, cider onion Jim Mayo and crispy potatoes. It was truly outstanding! In addition, I also had fries and the old-fashioned.My family and friends all enjoyed their food and drinks. They had, the, steak tip tacos, soft pretzel rolls, short ribbed forpleasure and a Belgian waffle burger. No complaints! We sat outside and the weather was very cooperative. Read more
Gigi was an amazing server. She took her time to explain the menu and suggest menu items. Everything we had was delicious! The... sticky pork belly is to die for! Deff recommend! She ended our brunch with a surprise delicious Brownie a la mode for ouranniversary. Read more
