I went there for lunch. I had shrimp and grits. Not big fan of grits in general but those were delicious. There are some... vegetarian options. The bloody Mary was decent. Service is good. Huge parking lot so plenty of spaces. Indoor and outdoorseating. Nice atmosphere. I would go again. Read more
I ordered the fresh fish of the day, which was served with rice and beans and they were delicious. It really hit the spot. The... dessert--Fun Fries, they call it, look like French fries, but were really funnel cake and apple. I don't know how they make itbut they really do look like fries--but more fun! It's sprinkled with powdered sugar and dipped in caramel sauce. I am stillreeling from the sugar high, but it was so worth it! I haven't had this anywhere else. Stopped in for lunch with a business associate. We ordered a couple burgers and sweet-potato tots. Both servings of tots were... really mushy and undercooked. The burger I ordered was supposed to have a fried egg on top. What I received could barely berecognized as an egg (see photo). I showed the severely overcooked egg to the waitress and explained that it wasn't edible. Shetold us that's how all the eggs come out of the kitchen and I wasn't the first to complain. I asked if something could be doneabout it and she said "Well, I guess I could mention it to the manager" then walked away. There was no effort to replace theegg. When I finished eating the egg-less burger, we watched her toss the egg in the trash. I'm guessing that there was no effortto inform the manager. Neither my associate or I will be returning. Server was friendly and attentive to us. The brunch items was good and different. We ate outside which was very nice.
The portions were really big and full filling The taste was good for the chicken waffle meal I really enjoyed it , but the fries... weren?t that great to be honest service was good and fast the facility looked pretty clean , would definitely recommend it for aquick lunch. Read more
First time trying The Porch and had a good experience. Now I'm giving it 4 stars since for take out you have to go in and order... at the bar, there isn't a designated place so I stood around for a bit before I got someone's attention to order. But I ordered,bartender was kind and offered me water while I waited for food. The person that brought out our order was super sweet toomaking sure I had everything I needed for our order before I left. And the best part was the food! We got wings and tacos withthe sweet tots. They were delicious!!! Everything was packed nice as well so it kept until we got home to eat it. I think myonly complaint would be the up charge for each blue cheese shouldn't at least one be included with order? That's me nit pickingthough we'll definitely be back though. Read more
