First time. 5 small whole wings not over seasoned or over cooked, Mac n cheese was good it was cheese flavored & not over... cooked. Sting beans on point with flavor. They're pricey $$$22.00 for the wing dinner. I'm being lazy so I must pay the piperwhat they ask. Will go back. Read more
Great food, the flavor is on point everything is very well seasoned. It was a bit salty, but worth it!!! The mystery drink is... sweet and thirst quenching. I got the lobster Mac and cheese, it was pricey, but damn tasty!!! My fiance got the grilled fish nshrimp with collard greens and veggie rice, he also was impressed. Which says a lot as he's a real tough one to please! OverallI'd go back, he wouldn't as he thought it was too loud (and not his music choice) and the crowd wasn't his scene. Nice place! Friendly staff but horrible over seasoned and dry food. The music is too loud because I had to repeat the order... several times. They made their money because I tossed this straight in the garbage. The chicken egg rolls tasted like flour andhard rice. I could beat a drum with the hard fries. So we decided to try something new while visiting Orlando. As you can tell by the picture the chicken wings were very small but... seasoned well. The greens omg plenty of flavor and plenty of meat. The fries were pretty standard. The red velvet waffles weredelicious. I don?t like the fact that you can?t get a refill not even on a fountain Coke but they automatically add the gratuityin it literally cost a few pennies to provide you customers a refill on a fountain drink. Great place to go every once in a while .....if you don't like your food really seasoned then this place is not for you other... than that it hit the spot. Let me tell you....the wait was long but so worth it. The atmosphere was energetic. Welcome Home Roscoe Jenkins was playing on... the TV and the music was hitting. The wait staff was friendly and accommodating. The food was surprisingly very good. I hadhigh expectations and they were met. The mystery drink was fantastic. The drink alone is worth 4 stars. Decided to try The Licking for some comfort food at lunchtime. There were 3 tables seated and a full staff. We were seated and... waited a bit for someone to deliver us a menu and take our drink order. The music is deafening. Being partially deaf, it is verydifficult to hear the waitress let alone have a conversation with your lunch partner. Our behinds were literally vibrating fromthe bass. One song had profanities in it and inappropriate slang words. We placed our order and it arrived hot and lookedamazing. As we dug into our food we were never checked on. The food is amazing but I felt a bit over priced. It might be theirlocation? We finally asked the bus boy to get our waitress, a couple of to go boxes and our bill. When we asked for a refill, wewere sharply told, ?we don?t hand out free refills?! We were a bit surprised considering we spent well over $50 for lunchincluding a 20% tip. Sodas do not cost that much. If the music was turned down and staff a bit more friendly, we would considervisiting again. The food was good and flavorful. Read more
Nice lay out and friendly staff with great customer service, clean environment ( including woman?s bathroom)however, the food.... Mystery drink was pretty good . The lemon pepper wings were overly seasoned, not salty, but over whelming on h the pallet andtook away from the chicken. The bbq wings were finger licking and the spicy were just as it is. The ?seafood bowl? - rice overflavored with seafood seasoning ( all I could taste was old bay whether it was or wasn?t ) it had 3 medium shrimp, 1 small overcooked crab claw, one slightly over cooked small over cooked body of a crab .. but it did have 3 small pieces of KRAB ( fakecrab but made of fish so it?s still seafood ) . Would suggest bringing it out with dish underneath so not to have rice bits onthe table or change to an oval dish .. The way it?s presented there will be rice in the table . I had a piece of the shrimpcroissant and though it did.it not have all the toppings, I looked inside and it had small shrimp cut up in it . Not worth $15 -will this be a recommendation or go to .. this will not be a go to but as a recommendation if you prefer over seasoned, overcooked not worth the value food, then this will your place to go .
