I, for one, am delighted they are closed. They deserve it. Never was I treated more rudely, and they amply demonstrated that... the floors to be swept were of far greater importance than someone - only one - person standing there for 20 minutes, and withno other arrivals to take care of. Seating myself and taking a menu, I was informed, arriving 45 minutes before closing, that Imay order to go. Having not driven one hour for $70 lobster in exotic sauces, I declined having to dine on such in my car (Iwas s route to Miami, stopping to try this interesting looking place. I came to sample authentic Chengdu cuisine. I receivedauthentic Chengdu rudeness. I never went back. Good riddance. Read more

This is hands down the best Sichuan restaurant in Orlando. Everything is super authentic, and the spice level is perfect. The... food is not too spicy to where you can't enjoy it. Instead, the food gives your mouth a slight numbing/buzzing sensation due tothe peppercorns. If you decide to dine in, make a reservation before doing so since their website stated that they were doingreservations only dine in for the time being. Read more

LarderRoom...When you roll to lunch at Taste of Chengdu with Ched Henry Moso from Kabooki Sushi, they roll out the off-menu Twin... Lobsters & Dungeness Crabs! I'd leave 6 stars but it won't let me! Read more

Lived in Sichuan province for a few years and this is the real deal. If you go to Chengdu and order the same dishes this is how... they will taste. Don't go in expecting average Chinese American fare. Worth navigating their strange hours and dine-in policies. Read more

P.S.: Don?t forget to get a reservation by calling them, it was very easy. Awesome Chinese (Sichuan) food. Been wanting to try... this place for a long time since I love Sichuan food. I got the spicy Sichuan style dumplings and the Kung Pao chicken. Bothwere amazing and had great presentation as well. Also, this restaurant is in a really nice area so you can easily walk around, walk by the lake, etc. Will definitely be back to try the Laziji Chengdu Chicken which is supposed to be fairly spicy ????! The first time we came here we ended up leaving after 20 minutes of not even having our drinks orders taken. To be fair thattime, we did NOT have a reservation. This time, everything was awesome! This is the best Sichuan cuisine I've had in FL and possibly in the entire US. Their cold noodles bring me right back to my... childhood and their Spicy Braised Fish (????is the perfect tender texture. We were so sad they had just run out of their ????(703) by the time we got there. Food came out fast and staff were friendly. Definitely have to come back another time! Read more
