This I a on-site marriott restaurant and bar has a good but limited menu. Had a Ribeye steak and ceaser Salad. The steak was not... that great for a Marriott restaurant I expected more steak was tough cut did not feel like a Ribeye. Very bad service experience due to lack of personnel. The food was OK but in small amount. Drinks are just average.
First time visiting on my way from the Taco and Margarita festival downtown. Very quaint atmosphere located inside the Marriott... hotel, with very nice and relaxing music playing. Very friendly staff. Janine was my bar tender who made me a Red Sangria thatwas deliciously spot on and packed a punch! She was very knowledgeable, friendly and professional which is always refreshing.Gave my visit a 5-star rating because of the experience, although there is no happy hour and a change in menu items available,which varies from what it shows and says on their website. Just stayed at the Marriott for the Roger Waters concert and we slid down to the Shade Bar and Grill for a quick bite. We... waited at the hostess stand for a couple of minutes. It looked like there were 2 bartenders, 1 waitress, and 2 bussers or foodrunners. I believe one of the hotel supervisors noticed us waiting and asked if we'd like a table. After confirming that wedid, she let us know she'd grab some menus and be right back. She returned to escort us to our table and asked if we were therefor the concert. I told her that we were and that we had been waiting since 2020....COVID. She told me they had just been toldsame day of the event. The hotel is walking distance from the venue, so they were filling up. Daniella was our server. Shewas absolutely lovely. The food was delicious. The bartenders were keeping their guests happy (and glasses in one piece). Thefood runner brought us hot, delicious looking burgers and sweet potato fries. (Yes, the taste was on point ????)
