Reviews for Rios Bistro Sushi Bar in Orlando, FL
Its a Brazilian japanese fusion restaurant which isnt advertised but I didn't mind because I love Brazilian food! The menu is... super long and has a ton of options which is great, but the food was lacking! The sushi was very clearly not fresh, the rice waswarm even though it was raw sushi not deep fried or anything, and I made the horrible mistake of ordering Picanha, which I makeat home and eat out all the time, it was horrible, it had the same texture as an overcooked flank steak and had no seasoning atall. Its clear that they cut some corners on the quality of meats they purchase or maybe they are stored inproperly I dont know!I didnt even know Picanha can get this tough! I don't know if I will be returning it was just an overall disappointment, we werereally excited about finding a fusion restaurant so close to home that we could go to frequently, but it definitely felt likemoney down the drain! I want to give one evening 5 stars but there was this odd delay getting our edamame and drinks. Gustavo was very nice and... likable, he made great suggestions. So we liked having him as our server. I just don't know if the kitchen was being slow or ifsomething else came up a couple times. So, overall we enjoyed it, there were just some slow parts that keep it from 5stars. We'll likely go back and see if it was just a fluke on the timing. Read more
Youngster Hipster lay back place, the hostess extremely helpful, sushi with Brazilian style. The restroom are clean and stylish.... The place beautiful decorated, selection of wine. Is not a traditional sushi place or just a bistro, the combination is a liverestaurant. Read more
The best place you will find out to eat good Japanese food, bistro and bar. Great environment, well served and superb customer... experience. Everything went fast as ordered. My suggestion is to order the Japanese menu and for dessert petit gateau. Read more
I came here because of the amazing photos that I saw on their website. It?s a new place, everything is clean, organized and... beautiful. This is will be a review for a $$$ restaurant. Sakerita, it?s a Brazilian drink, but instead of the cachaça it issake. They put frozen strawberry, it?s a nice idea, if wasn?t for the extra ice on it. So at the end, was very sweet and onlyice. Coxinha, delicious. Crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside. Tartare was good, but it was missing bread. It?s asmall portion of meat, but the bread to eat together it?s even smaller. So at the end, you have meat, and nothing to enjoytogether. Complementary bread, hot and crispy, delicious! Gorgonzola and steak. It?s a nice idea, but was very liquid, notcreamy. Add a little salt and taste gets better. We order a risotto with mignon. And after 30 minutes, with only 3 tables, weasked the server and she said that some problem happened and it wasn?t ready. We cancelled the order. Clients: it?s a niceplace, with nice food ideas. It doesn?t have a cocktail list yet. Owner: servers need to be more prepared. Tartare just addmore bread, people will enjoy. Make a better cocktail or make the option to people choose, frozen or on the rocks. Read more
The overall ambiance of this place was to die for . We decided to sit outside and when it got dark , the lights outside turned... on and it made for a ?romantic? feel. I got the Alfredo and it was very good. They served the chicken filet style which Ithought was different. I also got a pineapple mint drink because it sounded exotic and it was so delicious! Refreshing andsweet. Read more
A very good place to eat. The atmosphere is awesome. Recently inaugurated, very well decorated and the location is pretty good.... The menu has many delicious and different food options, from salads to risoto and pasta. If you stop by lunch time they have anexclusive menu from 11:30AM to 3PM. Last but not least, the staff and service are great! Highly recommended. Read more
Went there to eat just my boyfriend and I. We ordered sushi and desert and the lady gave us the desert first before our sushi... and we were confused and asked her why she was bringing desert if he hadn?t eaten our entree yet and she pretty much said therewas nothing she could do about it. She left the desert in our table and by the time our sushi arrived and we were done with it,our lava cake was already cold. When it came time to pay, 20% of tip was already included in the bill, hence it was just TWOpeople and we were not satisfied at all with the service. We will not be coming back and their lack of professionalism reflectson their lack of clients. We were there on a Friday night and we were literally the only ones there, literally just two peopleon a Friday night. To have just two clients on a Friday night and not even try to give them a good service speaks volumes. Thelast 3 times that I went the restaurant was completely empty during peak hours and now it totally makes sense. All of this andthe price was also absurd. Such a bummer because I used to enjoy it?
