Wow just wow!!!!!!!! I wish I can live in orlando just so I can eat here on the regular every plate was amazing every dessert... was delicious drinks is great I havent had bread pudding since my grandma made it 20 years and they didnt disappoint Im so happyI found this place its a true diamond and will be adding this to my go to spot Thank you for the great food and I cant waitfor Sunday to taste those turkey wings and dressing O YEA FYI THISE TURKEYS WINGS SELL OUT QUICK!!!!!!! The service & food was great. The food itself was good , fresh and hot. We sat in to eat and the wait was definitely short.... Staff was really nice and helpful. I would highly recommend coming here to eat. I haven?t had lunch or dinner from here but Iwould bet on it being great. The pricing is also good here too. Read more

First time here round the second week of January 2022. Wife and I wanted to downtown soul food. The place is small but very... clean. There was a lot of foot traffic in and out the day we went. That?s always a positive sign. Anyhow, I had meatloaf, yellowrice, tomatoes and okra. The star of my plate was the yellow rice. The meatloaf looked funny (color was not what I?m used too),but was seasoned and tasty. The stewed tomatoes and okra was good as well. Not quite as tasty as I liked but good. My wife hadthe fried chicken and she was disappointed because of the time it took to get and it appeared to be be re-heated. Make nomistake! The presentations and service was spot on. I topped it off with a piece of sweet potato pie. Again, it was tasty, buta bit too stringy. I good pies and this can be suggestive, but this is my opinion. The food was so good! I'm a very picky eater and Nikki's didn't disappoint. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is... because the peach cobbler wasn't all that but the food itself was DELICIOUS! The tilapia was great and not everybody can cookcollard greens but these were yummy. Make it your business to go here of you want some great soul food! Read more
We drove out of our way due to the reviews and unfortunately this must was a bad cook day for this place. I ordered the chicken... wings which turned out to be wingettes that appeared to be twice fried. They were not fresh and not thoroughly cooked as theywere pinkish inside... uuuggghhhh!!! The only thing I could eat from my plate were the yams. My daughter ordered the catfish.They were breaded nicely but again not cooked thoroughly enough for my taste...no crunch at all. We were looking for a southernsoul meal and was very disappointed. Not to mention there's no decent place to eat inside which is fortunate for them because Iwould have sent it back unsatisfied. At first I was so upset and was going to rate low. Why is it taking so long? We ordered online to find out that the system was... down after 30 minutes of ordering. I promise you we waited over an 1 hour yet it was worth it. We live about 30 minutes awayfrom Nikki?s Place and when we got home the food was still hot. Then the sweet lady gave us a strawberry chocolate cake on thehouse because of the wait. I already told my siblings about it. Me, hubby and baby boy will go back yet on our cheat day.
