Lucy's Puerto Rican Kitchen has been my favorite food truck for the last few years. To start, the owner is a very kind and... amazing woman. Even when she is hard at work making the best empanadas in Orlando she makes the time for a kind word or two. Ilove being able to call in my order and pay on CashApp. There is no wait when I arrive so I can dive right into my favorite beefand cheese empanadas. I traveled to PR in June of 2022 and of all I had eaten none could come close to Lucy's empanadas. It's ashort drive from downtown Orlando. A must-stop if in the area. I'm certain everything at Lucy's is good, but her empanadas areso delicious I have not tried much else. Google for hours and location. Read more
Food always made fresh and to order! My absolute fav is the Carne Frita w/ Mofongo. The meat is crunchy on the outside and... juicy on the inside and the mofongo is never ever dry. The Empanadillas are great as well and stuffed to the max! They alsocater. I ordered several trays of the Empanadillas for my Husband's birthday party and everyone raved about them. Let me tell you guys something! College park Florida is blessed with Lucy?s Puerto Rican food!!!!! This family owned business is... my favorite local go to for some delicious and affordable Puerto Rican food! This family is hard working and always friendly! This was my first visit and it was amazing! Definitely coming back and highly recommended it! We ordered alcapurrias, papa... rellenas, empanadillas, and chicharrones de pollo. Everything was a absolutely delicious! The alcapurrias. Papas rellenas andthe empanadillas were all huge and full of perfectly seasoned beef. The chicharrón de pollo was crispy and also perfectlyseasoned. They were friendly and provided outstanding service. Can?t wait to go back! Read more
I WOULD NEVER RECOMEND THIS FOOD TRUCK TO ANYONE. I visited this for truck with my wife and my son for the first time a couple... of days ago. The pictures they post for promo outside of the truck look very nice to the point that makes you buy from them. Weordered fried pork with fried plantains because they looked so nice and delicious in the pictures they post outside of thetruck. When we got the order, the fried pork and the plantains where very dark and had a strong taste to seasoning(Adobo). Immediately I went back to the food truck and complained about the color of the meat and asked for my meat to beredone with a lighter color. The lady who was cooking came to the window with a nasty attitude, took my plate, looked at it andsaid "that's how the fried pork looks like, that's the normal color what's the issue?". She also said that if I want my meatredone I WOULD HAVE TO PAY FOR IT BECAUSE THERE'S NOTHING SHE CAN DO. (In a intimidating and loud tone) VERY DISRESPECTFUL. Iasked her why would I have to pay again when I didn't do anything wrong, she was the one who burned the food and I have to payfor her mistake. Non sense... When you own or work in this type of business you need to have good customer service and bepolite so the customer experience can be improved and the people visit the business often, specially those customers who visitfor the first time... You wouldn't loose much replacing the food but you loose alot when customer don't come back and don'trecommend your business. Lucy and her team are awesome! We ordered some food off the catering menu at last minute for our office and they were able to... accommodate our request. Food was great and flavorful. Definitely recommend since it only took one order to get us hooked and wecame back the next day for another order. Communication was great, she stayed in contact via text with status updates on theorder. They also have a great menu selection with reasonable pricing. Read more
