Early flight the next day, we spent the night at Hampton Inn. IHOP next door, short walk to grab something quick after long... drive and tons of traffic from home. Big mistake. Arrived and although no one to greet us and another couple, waited about 5min then grabbed menus and sat in foyer. Shortly waitress came, we were seated and water brought. We had already decided on theassorted appetizer first then the roast Turkey with mashed potatoes and gravy, which we would split. First the waitress saidthey were out of mashed potatoes, so we reluctantly substituted Mac & Cheese instead. Then she came back and said they actuallyDID have the mashed?? So we switched back. About 20 minutes later, there must have been four other people in the restaurant,our appetizer AND our meal arrived together. Appetizer was warm, evidently had been sitting a bit. We worked on the appetizerand went to split up the turkey and mashed, then we noticed NO gravy. Checked the menu pics and sure enough it came with gravy.Mentioned to waitress and were told they were out of gravy. Turkey was very dry so without gravy we didn?t want themeal. Waitress offered to bring us a different meal but now about 12 people there so we didn?t want to wait another 30 minutesso just had her remove from our bill. If we had known no gravy, we could have ordered something different. What?s next? Ahamburger and no meat. Avoid this place! Read more
Everyone was happy in our party. Pancakes were gobbled up. My waffle, eggs, and bacon were excellent. They didn't have much of a... hot tea selection but given how happy we were with the food and service, I can't complain too much about that. Read more
Disappointed in how this place has ended up. Group of 5 (3 were under age 11). Sunday afternoon around 2pm. We were able to get... seated within 3 minutes, but it took over 12 minutes for someone to come take our order. Once we were able to place our orderit took around 22 minutes to get our food. During that wait our server came by and said sorry for the delay, we currently do nothave a cook so we are taking turns back there trying to help out. Something that would have been good to know early on. Serverwas nice and the food was okay, but definitely not worth the wait. You could tell that busing tables was not a high priority atthis location. The price of food has definitely gone up. For a family of five (two adults and three kids) we paid around $60not including the tip. I'm not sure if it's at all locations or just this one but they only had the one old-fashioned syrup atthe tables. I had ordered strawberry pancakes and they forgot the strawberries so I asked them if I could just get somestrawberry syrup and he said he had to take my plate to the back to get it. I do miss the days when they used to have multiplesyrups at the tables. I personally felt that management was not necessarily doing their part to help the servers the best theycould, but again that's just my opinion from what I could see going on in the room. Overall I do not recommend this location ifyou are in a time crunch. Less than 3 minutes away is cracker barrel which I would highly recommend. Read more
I ordered online and first did not receive the pancakes as requested fine, a sauce could be missed but the entire rest of the... order was not cooked. Overly disgusting. It is ridiculous that first and foremost I pay 50.00 for one simple order and you as arestaurant well well known franchise will even let this out of your store. Horrible service! No sense of urgency whatsoever. When we were being sat the lady looked at us like why would you want to eat... here. Waited 10 minutes before being greeted at the table and another 10 min before we got our drinks. There seemed to only be 2servers on the floor but by no means were they busy. Never seen a manager on the floor which in my personal opinion is where theproblem lies. They really need to fix whatever internal problems they are having because the location is great! On a side notebeing that they weren't busy I couldn't comprehend why they never bussed any tables the entire time we were there dining. Havesome Pride in where you work! Read more
Better experience than Denny's across the street, wonderful staff great food best selection this morning
Everyone was happy, we were there pretty late in the afternoon, so there was almost no one there. The staff was super-friendly,... they were out of the normal coloring materials for the kids but went in the back and found some left over supplies so the kidswere happy. The food was better than expected (and took a bit longer but it was well worth the wait). I used some gift cardsthat came from my credit card rewards (TY Points) without issue which are generally worthless to me so this was a nice bonus,and overall there were no surprises which made this a great experience. Visited this location in the afternoon. Ordered strawberry crepes combo with eggs, bacon and hashbrown. Crepes were fabulous!... Kitchen made my eggs snd bacon wrong but it was fixed very quickly and I got an entire new plate. Staff was friendly. Great mealfor 10$ plus tip. Read more
